Schools on some level are an extension of state and local government.
So, then as government entities, why are they allowed to censor what parents say about their programs, to call into the FBI to have parents charged as terrorists for opposing a curriculum they disagree with?
Governments are controlled BY THE PEOPLE, and are FOR THE PEOPLE, and sure as hell our schools are acting like tiny little fascist countries, run by sick little perverted dictators.

Fact is people today have immediate access on their devices to any sort of content that interests them. They are not sheltered in ways many of us greybeards were. There isn't more gay today it is just more present in our day to day lives. As it should be. People deserve to handle their personal business and not be publicly shunned and shamed for it. We need to be engaging in efforts to reduce bullying in schools not inspiring more of it.
