Chizzy- I think he's suggesting that they are applying the 14th, amendment to keep Trump off the ballot. Beyond the impeachment in the house (political charges), and the now conspiracy charges in GA(criminal), the part n parcel of being affiliated with the reasons for not being allowed on the ballot is being facilitated. I think the whole idea of SCOTUS ruling needs to happen sooner than later. And there is a whole thing about Thomas recusing himself since his wife was part of the organizers on Jan 6th, (diff subject) but the idea is that DEMS feel legitimized in keeping Trump off the ballot, based on the interpretation of that amendment by those offices in the states, who determine who will be on ballot. Other competitors are off the ballot because the Republican pick (Trump) is a god forsaken traitor to the union, as is everyone else who associated with him and was otherwise associated with J6th. There is no competition because nobody from the GOP is eligible for office, nor has anyone from the DNC stepped forward to run.


"In order to get on the ballot, you need to have donors in the state and be actively campaigning in the state," North Carolina Democratic Party spokesman Tommy Mattocks reportedly said in December.



This doesn't mean that you need to have donors and be campaigning in the state to win the state's electoral vote. You can still write in someone who can win, if they are running or not.



This whole thing is about the DNC not wanting someone to run, to represent the DNC, if they do not have ties to the DNC in SC.

They aren't barring anyone else from being put on the ballot. Go on the green party, anything else. Just not as someone who is under the DNC.



It's like your boss not allowing you to be head of the office in Hawaii, because you live in Pennsylvania and don't have a permanent place to live in Hawaii, or you are not allowed to visit the state of Hawaii because you tried to overthrow the volcano.



So if the criteria to represent the DNC in SC is that you have donors in the state, and you have campaigned in the state, then don't put your name on the ballot of the DNC. I see nothing wrong here, other than the fact that the two party system we have continues to fuck over everyone who isn't already one of the haves. It's designed to keep out the have-nots.



So stop telling at the Dems for doing what they have always do. Step back, see that this fault is a direct result of having a two party system.

Why yes I did and unlike sheep that only see what they want, I look further into the matter. The election board was urged by the dnc to do this and goes against how they proceeded as early as 2020 and goes against their by laws.
