They responded quickly. I asked for a pic, which they provided. An attractive, 30ish female. I drove over and got the room number. No sign of LE or management other than a black SUV with tinted windows in front of "her" room that just killed its lights. The room appeared to be dark. Standing in the parking lot I asked her to come to the balcony to wave me in. She refused. She also refused to part the curtains. She then told me to go home.
So could have been a scam or a sting or bait and switch Could have been the girls were simply instructed not to show themselves for some reason. Either way, more questions than answers. I suppose next time I should just walk in and hope for the best.
