Dust off your VCR's... a new release on VHS

I think the studio execs are hoping that VHS gets a resurgence of popularity, like vinyl did a few years back.. But that fad is tapering off already.

Tapes are great, but I honestly can't say that I'm a fan.

Torrents are not old news. I get everything I watch online either through some private or foreign trackers, or newsgroups. I'm currently sitting at a ratio of over 10 with seeding the entire Abbott and Costello collection and a few others, and I too just picked up two more 20TB drives to put into my NAS this week. But that's going off topic. I don't have any VHS tapes that I had digitalized, but most of my DVD collection, I've ripped it or downloaded a copy so that I can have it digitally.

I don't think there's any hope of a VHS resurgence. This is retro kitsch

Hyping the worst of the Alien series, that's all, trying to create demand, where none will soon exist, IF, it ever existed at all.

I swore off paying Hollyweird one cent decades ago, I get everything within 24 hours of release, from TV series to new movies, and its generally worth exactly what I paid for it.

That includes the NFL games, I especially am not paying for their weak shit.

Blue ray? Never had one, likely never will.

I've been digital media for decades.

Hell, I was even named a John Doe in one of the famous Porno lawsuit troll cases, IE, movies just released to create lawsuits for cheap in the Federal courts.

In the end, it was all revealed to be fake, and all the cases ended up dropped, thats when I got a proxy server.

Now nobody sees shit what I DL.

Alien Resurrection called and confirmed it's the worst. Except for the Ron Perlman parts. Those were ok.
