Do you pay p411 subscription if you seldom use the service?

The value of P411 has gone down the shitter since Gina sold it to ?. The quality of providers is not there anymore, and the new owners don't do anything about the deposit-and-dash scams, the NC/NS specialists, etc....

I guess the BackPage / Craigslist crowd has to have a home, too.... Originally Posted by Anonymous01

My question is, how do they vet guys to get a membership? As the provider, we jump through many hoops to have access.

I got in because of the 6+ verified p411 providers wanting me to. I was a member in good standing for the entire time I was on there, which my account is still good, I still have not renewed it as I am not looking for new to me providers and do not need references anymore.

Having been a member for about 2 decades, it was worth every dime as it got me into to see providers I would not have otherwise. And, it took me close to 300 oks to finally get my regulars.

FWIW, I obtained my P411 back in 2012 and find it to be a great reference for what is essentially what I’d spend going out for a high-end dining experience…. As they say, WALDT

From what I have been told by several providers, they now have to double login to p411 for added security to make sure it is really the provider and they can no longer randomly look at a hobbyist's profile without recent authorization from the owner of the account via a message on the p411 platform. At least one of my suggestions was actually put into place (the latter). I have always hated providers or provider accounts that I have not contacted within a week or so with my p411 info to be able to just look up my account. I feel they do it more than likely for nefarious or malignant purposes. That is why when I see it, I send a message to their customer service staff, per their instructions to do so in the first place, and they take that provider's profile down until they explain why they are looking up random accounts.

So for the folks who dislike constraints and actual rules that apply to all, this may be annoying or disheartening to them, you can thank the ones who were doing it before these extra rules had to be put in place for those safety reasons.

I've had a membership since 2013 and renew it every year. It's one of the best tools in the hobby. There have been a few misconceptions about the provider, but for 90% of the profiles, the data is accurate. I'm all about the data with regards to what I am looking for. Google is good for concerns. TER is limited. This site is pretty good, except for the white nights. It's all about what you are wanting as a monger. P411 makes it so simple so it's worth the $$
