Chi Kung Bust

"On Wednesday, a search warrant was executed at Chi Kung Foot Spa locations in Trophy Club and Dallas."
Video footage was seized as evidence. No mongers arrested?

"Town of Trophy Club revoked Chi Kung Foot Spa Trophy Club’s certificate of occupancy, police said"
Sounds like a bust. If enforcement of CO is all they could apply, well I can get a new CO under a new LLC in a week. No way LE could close 1000 AMPS in Texas by revoking CO. The AMP business in good shape. Originally Posted by amp2015

I suspect some will win, and others will lose. As the state learns from each of the cases that have been brought since 2023, if they need to tweak the law they can since they are in session again.

Folks need to pay attention to what is going on in Austin. Too few people do, as evidenced by the low level of voting for local and state offices. We get the government we deserve as a result.
Oh wow, I was there on the 12th. Guess I’m not going back.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Coco working for at each place.

The story said a search warrant was also issued for the Dallas location. It doesn’t say whether or not that shop was closed.

Still, knowing a search warrant was issued I can see how a guy might be reluctant to visit the Dallas storefront even if it remains open.
Wow. I almost came here yesterday. Originally Posted by Arzu.marcus

Just remember what LE did in the city of Palm Spring, Florida and placed hidden cameras inside the establishment.

I’m not saying that can’t happen here, but I certainly have not seen anyone locally copy his tactics.

I’m only thinking to myself is why would you bust this place on February 12th (correct me if I’m wrong on the date), and it remains open for business as of today. The only difference from Florida and Texas is the felony charges on your record. I would prefer not to be a Robert Kraft being on the local news, losing my job, and having a felony record.

I think that same sheriff has posted pics of busted johns on billboards before. He definitely is a cut above everyone else in demonizing the hobby. I wouldn’t even think about visiting a studio or calling on an LC ad in that market.
