Houston bbq event is at NRG in the parking lots.
Started yesterday.
Yes there's a couple Kansas City teams.
Btw, smaller than the Kansas City World Series of BBQ which will be four days starting Oct 30th. I'll again be the fireman for a team there.

But getting back to danger, if you feel you need to go on a date with a weapon, clearly, you have not done appropriate screening.
