Last night, during his speech, he turned to the Dems and said no matter how good anything I might do is, you will never applaud me. And then he proved that to be correct

He announced a Make A Wish type action for a 13 year old cancer patient - and the Dems sat on their thumbs
He introduced the 94 year old mother of a prisoner returned from Russia - and the Dems sat on their thumbs
He announced the capture of the terrorist responsible for the suicide bombing and deaths of 13 American soldiers during the Afghanistan withdrawal - and the Dems sat on their thumbs
He announced measures aimed at eliminating online "revenge porn" - and the Dems sat on their thumbs

I hate to admit, but it was probably his best speech. Still a douche IMHO but I think he’s finally listening to those around him. Most of his prior “speeches” was more of him shooting from the hip…which ended up with him saying something stupid.
Your point on 1st pointing out the dems won’t clap and his loooong list of wasteful spending was really good and the dems ended up looking silly.

The thing that stood out the most to me is that the Dems would rather look like absolute fools in front of the world than show a single ounce of respect to Trump. That 13 yr old boy being given his dream wish and they didn't stand, the other examples given also. I don't care what side of the coin you are for, if you don't stand and clap for a terminal child getting his dream you are the asshole not Trump.
