Trump Claims Nazis Treated Jewish Prisoners With "Love"

You have to give Trump a pass. He probably saw the movie "Shindler's List" and believes most Nazis were just like Oskar. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oskar_Schindler

Snopes said that Trump DID NOT say that. However, I was 100% correct in the context of what was really said. Trump was comparing the absolute inhumanity of Hamas to the small slivers of humanity among the Nazis. Trump does not excuse the Nazis of anything.

Trump Claims Nazis Treated Jewish Prisoners With "Love"

Donald Trump made the unbelievable claim during a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
.
In his latest rewrite of European history, Donald Trump made a ridiculous and sympathetic declaration about the Nazis.

Amid the tariff chaos he spurred, Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Oval Office Monday, where he was asked by reporters about his plan to bring about the release of the 59 Israeli hostages being held captive in Gaza by Hamas.

In typical Trump fashion, the president dodged the question and went on a bizarre rant that seemingly remembered Nazis for … their sympathy.
“I said to them, was there any sign of love?” Trump said, recounting his conversation with released hostages.

“Did the, Hamas, show any signs of like, help? Or liking you? Did they wink? Did they give you a piece of bread extra? Did they give you a meal on the side? … Like, you know, what happened in Germany?” Trump said, absurdly comparing the hostages’ situation to the Holocaust, which murdered six million Jews.
“People would try and help people that were in unbelievable distress,” the president went on, suggesting that the Nazis were known for their generosity.

“No, they didn’t do that, they’d slap us,” Trump said the hostages told him about Hamas, while sitting next to the man who is currently leading Israel’s genocide in Gaza. “Their hatred is unbelievable.”

Trump’s claim about Nazi kindness sent people reeling on social media.
“This isn’t just delusional. It’s Holocaust cosplay. He’s romanticizing genocide like it’s a fucking history podcast,” one user wrote on X.

“Equating hostages held by Hamas to victims in Nazi Germany isn’t just offensive, it’s also a grotesque distortion of history,” wrote another. “He’s always saying the first thing that pops into his head without understanding the weight of those words. And he’s sitting next to Israeli Prime Minister. Crazy stuff!” Originally Posted by Yssup Rider

Boy am I happy I didn’t find that on Telegram!

You fellas are defending the indefensible. That those words came out of his mouth is the undeniable truth.

Why did he choose those words? Could it be because he knew what he was doing and was trolling everybody? NAAAAAHHHH, he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

He was nuts before he started slipping mentally. He’s in full decline now (according the me political insiders) and nuttier than a fruitcake.

At risk of being accused of hijacking, the layman often confuses an objective comment as being supportive. For example: many historians have expressed the idea that if Hitler had left office in 1938 after six years of getting Germany off the mat, bringing Alsace-Lorraine, Austria, and the Czechoslovakia back into Germany but before the war and the Holocaust, Hitler would have been considered a great statesman and Churchill a historical footnote.

As events happened Hitler was a monster as was his regime.

As we know, Trump didn't say that and the entire thread should be taken down for fraud.

As McCain said, some Nazis risked their lives to save Jews and others from the gas chambers. In addition to Schindler, there was Duckwitz, Albert Goring, Helmuth Groscurth, Hans von Dahnanyi (who was executed), and Bonhoeffer (also executed.)

You should give Trump a pass on this, especially those of you who support the current administration in Israel. Not only is Trump possibly the only leader of a country to support Netanyahu's razing of Gaza, but his ambassador to Israel supports annexation of the West Bank, and has opposed a ceasefire in Gaza and a two-state solution. All based on Biblical prophecies.

This so called “news story” died on the vine.

Isn’t it amazing how video can destroy a lie.
