Mack to lay off 250-350

Mack Trucks and the LVO are owned by Volvo. If you're going to fact-check, get it right.

I know where you pulled it from. The article conflates Stellantis as the owner of Mack Trucks.

It's Volvo. Fain's statement says nothing about the LVO. He's talking about Stellatis locations, one of which has Mack in the name.

The Stellantis Mack Assembly is near Detroit. Mack, Warren, Trenton Engine.

Maybe spend less time trying to prove that the wrong company owns that plant and more time feeling bad for the manufacturing jobs that are being lost of this tariff whiplash and the economic impact

There's another 100ish that will lose their jobs in Maryland. Also a Volvo owned location. Part of Mack Powertrain

I do love you keeping this front and center, though.

The economy is going to crash because 300 workers got laid off. Hardly a headline.

It is absolutely a headline to those workers and their families.

And those with empathy

OOOOOF!!!!!! It won’t be a blip for Mack.
The real headline is how many of trump's own voters have lost their jobs since January 20

Nice, J. That's 3 false statements by you in one post and zero empathy for these workers

It's a pretty big blip for those families.

Which is thr topic and more important than any speculation you have regarding the telephone pole in my pants, good sir.

In the scheme of things, Mack isn’t a drop in the bucket.

It actually is the tariffs, the uncertainty they cause and their impact on demand.

Those 250-350 are part of that 800

This is one drop, in what could be a pretty full bucket. And those folks and their families and their livelihoods ARE important.

Btw, that's more confirmation for Volvo
