DOJ Now Reviewing the Whitmer Kidnapping Case

Too funny. Very easy to find the truth. If you really want to. Since you never provide any links, it's hilarious that you on the left demand them. Originally Posted by Lantern2814

If the truth is so easy to find out, then find it and link it. If you (or your "mate") make a claim, then it's up to you to prove it, not "us on the left."

Otherwise, you're just beating your, ahem, GUMS!

This is a witch hunt conducted by a highly weaponized DOJ, who according to you will seek to nullify legal convictions in a legally prosecuted trial.

It's horse shit and you know it.

Now either put up, or well, keep beating your, ahem, GUMS!
Proof: convicted in a court of law and upheld on appeal.

(I don't have to look that up, do I?)

This is asinine.

More MAGA gaslighting.

We've seen it before. From my time here he's a mixture of a little Corny, (If you don't know, maybe someone will PM him). Fierce and combative but not a "scholar" as Barley. Cornster brought the links and attitude.

A lot of Salty in that it's gonna happen tomorrow like we have to look it up for him. And of course like a lot of others on his side unwilling to try and prove himself here.

In the end he will eventually wash out as only the strong survive this jungle.

Oh, I forgot about Hedonist. I show 'spec on his name as Forever was a decent to good writer. The writing is there with this guy, just not the backing. He can't even back himself here.

I hope he doesn't take this as a personal attack. But, we'll see.

Is the Whitmer kidnapping plot really going to be relitigated? Maybe he'll learn something about bringing evidence and showing credibility.

I was outnumbered once.

Hang in there.
... Hmmmmm... Surely would seem that you lads didn't follow
the Whitmer case the first time... Please educate yer-selves
with that. ... Then, you can demand answers here.

And there's MORE to it... Gretchen wasn't the onley Guv that
Biden's corrupt government officials were "targeting"
by recruiting and training lads, so they could coerce into
doing a kidnapping - then arrest them before it happens.

Trying to make it seem that Trumpers were behind it all.

... Glad to see more of the case being looked at...

See what I mean? They don't even see it. We have to educate ourselves. Not be "schooled" by them. Another "look it up because I'm just bullshitting" move.

Then of course she wasn't the only target that will be proven tomorrow. It's getting to the point of boring as fuck! Not even a little funny.

Just boring.

That October, the bureau announced the arrests of 13 alleged plotters.

On the witness stand, two of the men - Ty Garbin, 26, and Kaleb Franks, 27 - said the participants acted of their own volition and were free to leave the group whenever they wanted. Both men had taken plea deals to avoid a prison sentence.

FBI agent Timothy "Red" Bates also took the stand, testifying that the group discussed blowing up bridges near the governor's house to thwart law enforcement.

But the defence alleged an FBI informant named Daniel "Big Dan" Chappel who infiltrated the group acted as a "double agent", befriending and radicalising the men to advance the plot.

Mr Harris - the only defendant of the four to take the stand - slammed Big Dan as "a liar" who "got scared by memes" shared within the group.

Mr Fox's lawyer also attacked Big Dan for "[beating] the drum and [getting] them all worked up".

Not. One. Fucking. Word. About. The. FBI. Setting. It. Up. Just a paid lawyer ALLEGING an informant radicalized the men. Here's a clue. If I convince you to rob a bank to pay for hookers, and you try to rob a bank, you're still guilty of a crime. Otherwise I could just say the MAGAts on this forum convinced me there was no law and order and do whatever the fuck I wanted.

Maybe you and some of your buddies need to take remedial reading classes.

Oh, and here's one of those things MAGAts can't figure out:

Hilarious!

Dan Chappel (born c. 1987), nicknamed "Big Dan", an Army veteran who served in the Iraq War. He has stated that he joined the Wolverine Watchmen in 2020 after finding them on Facebook, wanting to keep up his firearms skills, but contacted law enforcement after seeing the group's radicalization. After becoming an informant, Chappel became the group's "XO", or executive officer, the second-highest rank in the group, and then its highest-ranked officer after Morrison departed the group due to marital problems.Chappel taught the group tactical skills he had learned in the U.S. Army, offered the group use of a credit card (paid for by the FBI) to buy ammunition and supplies, and in summer 2020 spent hours on the phone with Fox planning the kidnapping.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gretch...idnapping_plot

So apparently the FBI supplied the leader of the organization, who trained members and helped plan the kidnapping, AND a credit card to buy ammunition and supplies. The FBI had twelve confidential informants and two agents involved in the operation.

Regardless, what a bunch of dumb asses. It takes a special kind of stupid to participate in a plan to kidnap a governor.

This isn’t a case of someone working off a charge by sleeping with and convincing their partner to pick up and deliver a package for them. (happens every day).

These people knew what they were doing involved assault, kidnapping, destruction of property, and murder. Whether they would have done so without the backing of the undercover agents is immaterial in my opinion. If you don’t know that was wrong and they have you committing an overt act then you deserve what you get.

I cited a foreign source to remove appearance of bias to a US political policy. That was for the ones with the intelligence over 3rd grade's benefit. Feel free to disregard if it doesn't apply.

Fine distinction here...if I'm an informant, I could be guilty of a crime by trying to entice a criminal act to benefit myself...or aiding in the actual commitment of the crime, depending on WHY I promoted the act. If I'm a FBI agent, I'm guilty of entrapment. Referenced person was not an agent, he was an informant.

But, no matter - the whole situation is NOW getting a look

Biden's FBI/DOJ recruited troublesome blokes and actually
schooled them in just how to kidnap people - and then
pointed them to Guv Whitmer - and then arrested those
blokes in a sting trap before it could happen.
