It is an easy out for Trump admirers who can't defend him, and can't think of anything else to say.


With poll numbers as bad as Trump has, no wonder the press have negative commentary. There is plenty
of bad policy to talk about.


That, plus Trump's attempt at authoritarian rule, his horrid bully approach, and his narcissistic personality.......plenty of reasons for negative press

To answer the OP’s question, the Press Reports on President Trump are overwhelmingly negative because he baits them.
The American Voters know this and enjoy watching Trump’s ability to make fools of the Press, and the Democrats.
Just as he stated in his address to the Joint Houses. It makes no difference what he proposes, the Democrats and their Lackeys in the Press are automatically against it.

It is the highest manifestation of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The real irony is President Trump is having a great time doing it.

Really, Salty? The only damn people I hear complaining about the media are Trump and his cult. Media coverage hasn't changed over the years, but if you give them a bad reality TV shit show to cover, that sure makes their jobs much easier to do to increase viewership... they are going to really hate it when Trump is gone, and they have to go back to covering mature adults to find controversy instead of it just being handed to them on a daily basis 24/7.

I have no problem with accountability and standards for any politician. Trump has plenty of gaffes to report on. Think the problem is that the majority of the US mainstream press have become propagandists for one party (Democrats), and are unwilling to apply that same accountability and standards on to all politicians. In his first term he cut the corporate tax, deregulated, normalized relations with North Korea and Russia for a good while, and fast tracked approval of the COVID vaccine. His agenda so far in his second term is hurting the country. I'm starting to wonder whether we would have been better off with Harris, assuming we would also have a Republican Senate and House.
