It was a call first of course I did not pick.

Then text was sent.

Got this today from supposedly (732) 434-8082, likely fake. Looks like they did a reverse lookup on my number, but the names are all wrong. Please let me know if I should edit & delete the names...

I got one and told them thanks for calling that I was with the FBI investigating his girls and now that they just added extortion to the charges. To stay right where they are we will be there shortly to deliver the money.

I've had a few of these, always to my work phone. They actually give a name and address that isn't mine. One time they claimed to be a cartel boss I responded with something like "Well then you have to be running the stupidest cartel in cartel history."
Someone actually called the phone, demanding his money with some kind of accent. He hung up on me after I laughed at him and told him to come get it.
