Paradise in FW shut down

The news and law love using the term human trafficking when most of the time, there's no evident of that. Just because they don't have PR or citizenship, doesn't mean that they are trafficked. They come and go as they please. The providers are here to make as much money as they can. Most don't have any intention to stick around because their families are back country of origin.

It's just like saying the farming and hotel / service industries staff are being trafficked.

Great for news, but not really the truth.

Human trafficking does happen, but rarely in amps. Word of mouth spread about how much $$$ they can make here. They know what job they will be working, no surprises. And many makes a killing because of us (their customers)

LE love busting these places because they confiscate lots of cash and great publicity.

Nm. Don’t want to turn this into another political argument.
A question? I was looking at the TDLR site and it seems the item almost all the spas are busted for is a lack of intake forms and record keeping. It almost seems automatic. Very few places I have been to ask for the massage intake form to be completed. Why don't they ask it, but not care what you put down? Just to comply.

The last place i been to made me put down information on a form for record keeping. They never did before but now they do.
The TDLR site was very clear that the place is out of compliance if the massage is performed without the form being completed, and a fine of, I believe $500-$1500.

I’d like to hear from staff regarding their willingness to consider a different set of parameters for AMP reviews considering the current enforcement environment. I think it’s pointless to try to see up a different system if ECCIE isn’t going to support it.

As long as guys have to include certain information in reviews in order to receive PA that not only helps hobbyists make decisions but also assists LE, I don’t think the idea of limited disclosures is going to work. Originally Posted by TinMan

Amps are low hanging fruit that LE can conduct stings and always get something of consequence from it, especially if they take walk ins without an appointment. They call it trafficking but sex for cash is still illegal as well.
This happened a couple months ago. I was on my way home from work and saw the sirens and a poor kid in gym shorts in handcuffs. So stupid, he just needed a little massage and release... Yea LE is all over the AMPs and it is not hard for them to find intel on them. Between here and rubmaps they can find out in 5 min what is going on...
