Is activity way down???

As one of the top Providers in the Lafayette area I consider myself average in my pricing not cheap but not expensive either I consider myself to be affordable. When I do travel I don't even raise my prices like most other girls do. I browse to see what other girls are charging especially those with a similar look to me. I am absolutely shocked to see what some of these girls are charging and some don't even have the looks to justify it. I really don't get their logic. I see constantly how these girls complain how things have gotten so slow and their only able to get 1 client a month. They offer zero flexibility in their pricing and are complaining about not making any money. But their charging like 1k plus per hour and they refuse to do shorter visits. The only thing I can gather is that they just simply don't understand how to run a business. I make a lot more money than they do without much effort doing 3 to 4 calls per day almost everyday. Quality is good but without quantity you have no business. They blame us for bringing down prices but the truth is they are ruining the business by over charging and under delivering and they send clients running for the hills. that's why clients are dropping like flies. It will take a couple of years for the scene to repair itself. Between ICE running out every AMP and tariffs just increasing the daily expenses at almost every purchase. AI-driven demands are expected to cause technology price increases in 2026 and beyond, potentially leading to further expense increases.

Economists call this a K-shaped economy. Those who prepared well over the years should be OK moving forward. Most others are in for big trouble. It stands to reason many of these young women who haven't handled their finances well will be pushed to go the sugar daddy/STG route to make ends meet. One of the few upsides (if you can call it that) to this administration most of you voted in.

The NOLA specific AMP scene is a curiosity. Hard not to feel like this is the calm before the storm.
