I don't know how the state in general is there, but I know Chi Town is an interesting mix with crime for many a decade.

But I have to hand it to a previous(?) governor of that state putting a moritorium (sp) on executions for the amount of innocent people who were on death row.

That, to me, showed they were concerned with Americans safety.
