PS, the thing that gets me is when I ask "Do you have references?" The dumb response is either "What do you mean by references?" or the condescending tone, "Well, I didn't know I needed references for this, what do you need that for?". Sigh!

There are many many ways for a gentleman to prove he is legit. Once I had a new client ask me to tune in to a radio station one morning. Turns out he was a local DJ who wanted to say Hi to a new listner, LilRed. It was pretty cool getting a shout out on the radio!!
