The killing of Mexicans

Yssup rider, with the "bad people" procreating like roaches, as well as more bad people coming here in droves, this country will soon be the third world crime infested paradise you have always wanted. When the tipping point comes, and the criminals outnumber hard working good people, will you still blame bush, white people, and slavery?
Yeah it was a joke, a stupid and sick one. Like I've said before, Cain is a very sinister figure. Check out his past; listen carefully to what he says.

Is an electric fence really that much worse than a razor wire fence?

They'll both kill you if you try to force your way through without somehow deactivating the fence. Not that I'm necessarily in favor of an electric fence. I've always been surprised that people can get away with razor wire fences in our litigious nanny state.

I suspect that unless it's well guarded by guys with guns, an electric fence wouldn't be that effective anyway. How hard would it be to throw something at it and short it out? Or otherwise sabotage it? What happens if you shoot the insulators with a rifle?

How many fires is it going to start even without sabotage? Will we do our normal government process and spend too much money building it and not spend enough money on maintenance to keep it working?
An electric fence would never be allowed or approved because of the dangers it will
post to children. Children will definitely get hurt or die and that would create an outrage on both sides. Originally Posted by kingorpawn

Jack Goff - the "bad people" you refer to are Hispanics or illegal Hispanics? It's hard to understand who you're referring to as there as some of us that are US Citizens of Hispanic heritage and we find it offensive when we're called "bad people" or that "we reproduce like roaches". When I read comments like yours I'm glad we're reproducing like roaches so that eventually we'll be the majority and you'll be the minority. When you stop looking at us brown people as "bad people" I'll stop being sensitive about comments like yours.

from the CBS News website:

Herman Cain acknowledges his electric border fence idea isn't a joke after all

PHOENIX - After first apologizing for suggesting an electric fence along the border, Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain told reporters here Monday that he still thinks it's a good idea for controlling illegal immigration.

"I'm not walking away from that," he said.

Cain has spent the last several days explaining a controversial comment about building an electrified fence along the U.S. - Mexico border that he said could kill people trying to enter the country illegally. On Sunday, he said his comments were "a joke." But talking to reporters here after a meeting here with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who has made a national reputation for cracking down on illegal immigrants, Cain reversed course.

Initially Cain apologied when told his remarks had upset some in the state. "Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea culpa," he said, using the Latin formula for expressing contrition. But when a reporter challenged his description of his comments, saying he didn't seem to be telling a joke, the retired pizza executive acknowledged: "You're right." He said he still believes in the need for a border fence "and it might be electrified."

About 45 minutes late for his meeting with Arpaio because of "harassment," that caused the sheriff's office to deploy an escort, Cain would not discuss the details.

"We received some information that caused us to improve our security on the way over here and I would like to just leave it at that," Cain told reporters. "When you become a top tier candidate, a lot of nuts come out of the closet. That's basically what it is."

Cain wasn't the only Republican presidential candidate in Arizona - host of one of the early primary contests - talking immigration here on Monday. Earlier in the day, Michele Bachmann met with Arizona lawmakers and law enforcement officials to discuss border security. Afterwards, she accused both Cain and Texas Gov. Rick Perry of not being tough enough on the issue.

Without mentioning him by name, Bachmann referenced a controversial statement Governor Perry previously made in which he called a border fence "idiocy."

"I wouldn't call completing the fence 'idiocy,' as has been done in the recent presidential conversations," Bachmann said. "It is important that we actually do complete the fence in every portion."

And she pounced on Cain's suggestions that he had been making a joke about an electrified border fence.

"I also want to say that this is no laughing matter, the border fence," Bachmann said. We've seen jokes made by presidential candidates about the fence."

Bachmann has been a staunch supporter of building a fence along the entire border between the United States and Mexico, and on Saturday she became the first presidential candidate to sign "The Pledge," a declaration of support for the construction of a border fence created by the national advocacy group, Americans for Securing the Border.

Cain, campaigning last week in Tennessee, said he wanted to build an electric fence along the border that would kill those trying to climb it to enter the country illegally. When pressed on the comment Sunday by NBC's David Gregory on Meet the Press, the former Godfather's CEO said of the comment, "That's a joke."

But Bachmann wasn't laughing.

"That was a joke and this is no laughing matter," she told reporters when asked about Cain's comment. "It's important that we take this issue very seriously in dealing with the fence, as all of the individuals in front of me are doing, they're dealing with it very capably and very seriously."

One of the few times I have found myself agreeing with Governor Goodhair.
Another flip-flopper. One day they want to cook people on the border and the next day they want to open the borders and make it easier to come to this country.

"When asked what he would tell Latinos who might be offended by his remarks, Cain emphasized his plan to help immigrants gain legal citizenship.
"What I would say to them is, I'm all about making it easy for people to come to this country," Cain said. "We have wide-open doors. I have talked repeatedly about wanting to make it easy for people to come to this country the legal way - cleaning up the bureaucracy in Washington, D.C. Those kinds of things never get reported on. But I am all for opening up the doors of this nation.""

You didn't answer my question Jack. I'm waiting for a response as to who you refer to as "bad People" that "reproduce like roaches". Is it all brown people or just the illegals? Your post was too broad to determine who you were referring to.

I don't think the debate for which you lust will ever come about, junkie. Screw Rasmussen... Where do the bookies put him?

Somewhere around a 6 to 1 dog. Romney continues to be the odds on favorite to win the GOP election, at least according to the British bookmakers, who book that kind of action.

I'm curious what YR, TAE, Booth and others suggestions are as to how we should effectively enforce our border, or should we at all? Our current enforcement strategy isn't working. Granting everyone that's here illegally amnesty won't stop illegal immigration either as has been shown in the past. If our current enforcement isn't working and people are against taking measures to ratchet up the enforcement then why bother spending money on enforcement at all? Maybe just let anyone that wants to enter our country walk right in? Maybe simply have stations set up all along the border that hand out visas to anyone walking across? I'm curious to hear your suggestions on border security or why you don't feel it's needed.

I'm curious as to how and when everybody's ancestors "slipped into" this country.

My father's side entered through Galveston -- by accident -- right after the Civil War. Not welcome.

My mother is an immigrant.

Roosevelt wasn't real keen on letting her kind slip into this country but she got in because her older sister married an American GI. He would have had her spend her teenage years in some sort of "camp." Lucky for her, it never came to that.

What's the inscription on that big green statue in New York?

How about you? Did Plymouth Rock land on you?

3. If not, then how should we police our border so that it's effective?
4. If you believe we should not enforce our border then why have a border at all?
Simple questions...let's see if you can answer them straight forward without talking about what took place 100 years ago. We're living in today's world with all the complexities and problems that come along with that.
