I understand post count and content. I would also think experience and time on the board would be a big factor but I am not an owner so just an opinion. My point is only this and then I will leave it be. As the last time there was a mod shift a few guys post numbers skyrocketed but there reviews stayed the same. Now I know that Jymie said that post count is how the administration gets to know someone but I have watched this process a bunch of times and the post count goes up because guys just comment on everything. Like "nice review" 100 times a week. Inherhently there is nothing wrong with this but that certainly doesn't help anyone get a better handle on who that person is. If the mod job is a closed club so be it. I just would like to know that. As I have stated in the past I do believe there are a few guys that would love a chance to serve in this capacity. And even though the sitting mods always say there are "no perks", being good friends with a couple mods of yester year I find that hard to be true. It is not financial gain and let me just say that I think the mods do a fine job most of the time. But they definitly are treated different in our "society". I do a lot of volunteer work in my other life and even though many times it is not intentional, there are always "perks.
I justed wanted to get that off my chest so I promise it is the last time you will hear from me on the subject. I would only hope for more clarification of how the process works. If it is none of my business, then so be it.

Rest assured, there are no perks. Unless you feel that the satisfaction that we get from knowing we are helping the community in our own way, then yes that would be a perk. It is gratifying to me getting to know each and every one of you on here, while I have not met most of you, I feel I can say you all are friends. So that would be a perk I guess. And that is important in my sheltered existence.

There can be perks for some mods if they "allow" themselves to go down "that" road. I am pretty sure we have mods that are honorable and would never go down that path.

Perks? No one told me about any perks!!!! Being as this is day 5 and I haven't shaved my head or 'cracked' yet I guess I'm here because I want the opportunity to assist and enjoy the community with you!

THis really is a pretty amazing site when you think about it. I mean jokes, complaints , rants & raves, laughter and the occasional tears (yes that would be me) perhaps the best perk is the camaraderie!

No one wants to answer the question? I figure with possible federal felonies on multiply counts I would assume they would be diligent on who gets an almost all access pass.....

Now of course this site is all bull and we have a lot of fun stories called reviews in this fantasy that does not really exist but could you imagine if someone were to get busted and lie saying that all of this is real??? Does anyone know how long they would go away for in your given role here?? I certainly do and if you wanna ask me feel free to pm me.

Call me crazy, as most of you do any way lol, but in business I believe the strongest points should be with who handles security and with who handles the finances. If you screw up either everything goes wrong.

And yes there are perks to being a mod!
easy screened client (gents)
exposure to more clients (ladies)
access to the ladies room (gents)
a large say and more control on what goes on here
ability to point/ban any handle here
and let's not forget everyone's favorite! The ability to be mean and not get pointed or banned as the other mods play dumb as if that was the only post they didn't read.

Btw my question came from general curiosity and is in no way linked to views of our new mods I am persoannly fond of them
