I spent 2 Turkey days away from the family over the past few years, and hopefully that never happens again.

The day will be spent with my family, enjoying all the good side dishes I only see once a year.

I will be doing, absolutely nothing

Kudos to you WM...I've never spent TG on an aircraft carrier, but I've always made it a tradiion with my kiddos to feed the homeless and visit the shelters. My friends and I have hosted troops during the holidays, but no matter what we do...we should appreciate how fortunate we are truly are!

So, thank you friends for making my year very special!!

+1 to those doing charitable deeds. I run a food drive that feeds 200+ people. I love it and feel like I am giving back.

On Thanksgiving, I will be working during the morning. I have college tuition bills/taxes I need to pay by the first week of December, lol....and they are super hefty, so no time to visit friends/family. Thanks to all of the men and women who have served. God Bless.

Then giving thanks for all of the new people I have met here since I have joined earlier in the year. I have MUCH more to be thankful this year because of all of you.
