also never forget that Nelson Rockefeller had dyslexia---it seems that it didn't stop or hinder him from being Vice-president, Gov. of New York, & one of the greatest philanthropic billionaires the world has ever seen!!! take care & never give up!

Haley you are right, its very difficult to speak or write about something that we, ourselves, consider so private and personal.

By letting the community know about your particular disability, you demonstrate a lot of personal courage and as such, deserving of our respect and understanding.

Computers, software, and new electronic devices are not infallible, I see it everyday.

Your perseverance will make the difference.

Thank you for being brave enough to share,

We will be try to be compassionate enough to care.

Please keep speaking your mind, I have met you briefly a few times and you seem to be a person with a truly good heart.

My dick, my pride and my stature seem real small just now.
I've never bashed you personally for grammatical errors, but I've done quite a bit to others... I too am shamed. For me it's not really a matter of intellect. It "CAN" appear that one is lazy if they write with copious errors. It kinda says "Hey I'm lazy and don't care to take the time to correct my errors..." I know that Errors don't = Laziness, but it certainly can seem as though.
When I'm writing ( whether it's here or in business) I always have tons of errors, but I always take time to proof it and try to make corrections where needed.

For example if I am perusing a resume' for a prospective employee and come across an error, I simply stop reading, toss it in the trash and move on to the next one.

It's just food for thought...

Bless you FoxyRed for speaking your heart, and having the stones to open up... That's 90% of the battle already won !!

Ms Haley,
I am still reeling from the implications
of what I have done. While I love crushing
dummies who ought to know better.
The idea that I devastated some people
into feeling ashamed of themselves because
of an inability to communicate- i'm ill.

Know that you have muzzled a very rabid tiger.
I may never have been disrespectful to you.
But I am certain that I have hurt others.
Not that I don't like hurting others, I do jff.
But they have to be capable of reciprocal
response otherwise it is no fun.
I will never brow beat bad grammar/ syntax
again until I can be sure they aren't dyslexic.

Your fellow dyslexics can thank you
for coming out and having jerks like myself
confront just what they were picking on.
I will spend the better part of my weekend
going to my other boards and offering
a general apology as well as BOLO's
for similar posters. You will/have helped
more people than you know.

You have me feeling smaller than the
period at the end of this sentence.

You are not sorry.
You are innocent.

I am the sorry one.
