LOL! You Can't Make This Up! Corzine Can't Pay Investors but He Can Give 500K to Obama!

Personally, I do not think Jon Corzine is a crook.

He is a risk taker, but he just fucked up on a grand scale.

His company was raking in 38 to 45 million dollars a month betting on European debt.

. . . But just because you fucked up at your old company yesterday does not mean that you cannot place a smart bet on a good horse today!

I don't see why President Obama should refuse donations from people who have made mistakes. If that was the case then there would be nobody qualified to donate to his campaign.

I am not trying to be funny, just trying to educate some of you bums, but apparently it is in vain.

Jon Corzine was a man on a mission of redemption. He desperately wanted his reputation back as a master of the universe and willing to pay any price.

He poured his heart and soul into his company arriving at this company at 6 am after running 5 miles.

He knew the European community desperately needed money and he could provide it for a tidy profit.

At first, his huge gamble paid off grandly and he was becoming a rock store right up to the time that the rating agencies saw how precarious his system was and downgraded his credit rating.

Then started people clamoring for their money and he had the equivalent of a run on his bank.

The scary fact of life is that just about any bank can suddenly go bankrupt if enough people get spooked by fact or fiction and start withdrawing their money in droves.

. . . Without money to fund operations, a bank will go bankrupt and sadly, that is essentially what happened to M. F. Global.

I got a better idea, Timmy. Let's out them and name them all, Dem, GOP, or any other party. Wouldn't it be nice to see a non-corrupt campaign at least once? I know, that's a fairy story, but we can hope. Makes more sense than saying, "Hey, if you get to make corrupt contributions, I can too!"

And IB, you have to understand FG. If a Democrat does something, it MUST be ok, because ALL Democrats are honest and hard working. If a Republican or other non-Democrat does something, it is evil because ALL Republicans and other non-Democrats are self-interested, lying hypocrites. See, it's easy when you understand their language. You see, Corzine made a $1.2 BILLION mistake. "Hey, it could happen to anybody! Hahahaha! Fuggetaboudit! It's misplaced, I'm sure it's around here somewhere, I'll clean out my garage, and if I find it, I'll call you."

But be careful, he's been known to issue death threats if you disagree with him. I'm not sure how stable he is, but I'd be careful.

So much for Little Timmy's theory.
I will strongly disagree with you. Corzine is a crook because he stole money from private accounts to cover his bad trades. He made a bad situation worse, and should be in jail. Not only did he steal the money from accounts, but those accounts were frozen so people could not hedge risk and lost lots of money because they couldn't trade.

As you would say COG....whatever. The point is, and speaking of integrity, it's another patently untrue post by you. Nice going. Originally Posted by timpage

Stability is really the last thing you know anything about, codger.

Just don't forget to take your meds and you might be semi-coherent in the morning.

The Joker does sometimes make good points, but you have to wonder why anyone would choose the Joker for their avatar.

. . . He did give the mighty Batman a run for his money in the last movie, but the guy was clearly deranged!
