Pronounced E-CEE or ECKIE!!

Any way this site is pronounced or mentioned I like it....

I prefer E-Chee. Kind of gives it a continental air.

Ecky sounds like I'm saying "icky" like the site is gross or something. I've always pronounced it ee-cee, it just sounds better, and I think 'easy' is more apropos to the site's purpose anyways

If you look at the link above and scroll down to Becky's comentary, you will see that she says it is pronounced ECK-EE.

As the site name is actually "Escort Client Community Information Exchange" I don't believe phonics comes into play. Can you imagine someone trying to pronounce BBBJTCNQNS without spelling it out or explaining what each letter stands for? LOL
Bottom line, you can say it however you want.
I do come across more confusion when I pronounce it "Ecky" though. People are like, "Huh?"
Then I explain, "E-C-C-I-E" and they're like, "Oh."

In all honesty, in the beginning I'd sorta grit my teeth when I'd hear someone pronounce it differently than I'd intended it to be pronounced, but I quickly adopted the same philosophy that was just stated a few posts above mine....
