I think your 3 provider references policy made your Waco trip so lean. Not many quality providers here, so not that many hobbyists with three girls to refer them. I'm not knocking your policy at all and I can certainly understand wanting to cover your ass. Just trying to offer a possible explanation.

I commend you, Sovanna, for sticking to your standards. Smart move. Many a lady will tell you that "trouble" came the moment they didn't follow their "guts" or their established standards.

The guys that do not hobby frequently do have some options.... the simplest being getting a P411 account. It costs all of $89.00 a year to be a member. Nearly 28,000 men have done so as well as over 9,000 providers. (and do you really want to say that $7.42 a month is too much to spend on your hobby safety/verification?).

Just as we research a lady's reviews, posts and background before me make a choice, a lady wants to be able to screen primarily for her safety and secondarily ensuring the client and she would be a "good match" and she is able to better meet our "needs".

We all have reputations in this industry. Some are better known than others, to be sure. It is imperative to both hobbyists and providers that we are first and foremost safe and secondly that we are a good "match".

Suggestions to ladies to alter their screening criteria are seldom well received and may indeed raise a flag with the lady or others with respect to the gent raising such a suggestion.

Unfortunately in our board world, we lack the ability to have a true "conversation".

I saw an opportunity to illuminate and simply made my post to address the issue to any who may have read this post and read it as:
1) A recommendation that ladies change their screening methods or
2) Those who may share the concern on how to get through screening, nothing more.

I simply saw an opportunity to address those issues and meant no implication as to your intent. This post will be around for years and may serve to help some members in the hobby.

Ranch, you and I have had this discussion before on the challenges faced by infrequent hobbyists (most providers require "recent" BCD activity to give/accept referrals. "Recent" is generally from 3 - 6 months). Seems a shame that as a mod you didn't get a break, but I applaud you for your respect for a lady's boundaries.
