is chat broken again?

Well the new chat is no problem for me...I can't even get in!

I can't get in either. The message says....Loading Skin

i think i may be having chat withdrawls

Sometimes, "New and Improved" is not.

I tried logging in using IE 8 and it worked.

So if you have withdrawals, try that.

I'm sorry, but it seems to me that somebody ought to be posting something somewhere explaining what's going on with "Chat". Anybody got any pregnant ideas as to how to get some info??

We are in the middle of doing a chat upgrade there are a few lingering issues but everyone should be able to get in...if you are having issues clear your browser cookies, history, etc and all should be good.

All is not good. Did that and i get to the "Loading Skin" screen and it just stays there. Surely I'm not the only one having the problem...

When screen get's to loading skin it just keeps running, are they still working on fix ?

I don't think anybody really gives a rat's ass...

Clear your cache and try installing latest flash. Just suggestions.

It isn't full proof as I am still having problems where I can get in with Opera on computer A, but I can't on computer B, yet on Computer B I Can get in with Firefox.

I may uninstall Opera on Computer B and reinstall just to see if that possibly solves the problem

Ok, I uninstalled Oper and rebooted and reinstalled it.

Tried to go into chat and it did not work.

Went to Adobe and downloaded and installed latest version of Flash and it all worked.


So just an idea for you folks to try who still can't get in.

Thanks for your input. I have done all this and still can't get into chat. Does anybody know of any tech support that could help me figure out this problem? I know from PM's that i am not the only one with the problem. Thanks for the upgrade, eccie!
