How much Hobbying is too much?

Personally, for me it was when I lost the thrill of meeting new ladies. I'm by no means anything special, but when I found myself in the same room as a Super Model and wasn't giddy, I knew I had been hobbying too much. I would say that it's an individual thing. Now as for pipefitters response, I think your problem is not so much with to much hobbying, rather it's maturing in the hobby. When i first started this level of the hobby, I was like a child in a candy store, I wanted everything that appealed to me. Now, i'm more selective, most providers showcases are sexy and show them in their best possible light, but there has to be something else about them that captures me now, I can never put a finger on what that something is, but I know it when I see it. But I agree with statements made by others on this topic, I only spend money that does not take away from my RL, when you start to sacrifice things in your RL for the hobby, you've probably gone a little to far. If you are running up your credit cards on cash withdrawls, you are hobbying too much. If you are putting your Russian or Eastern Block fiance through college, you are hobbying too much. If you dont give a shit if your wife finds out, you are hobbying too much. If anything you are doing resembles cocaine addiction, you are hobbying too much. If you are suddenly taking incredible risks, like picking up girls in tunnels or on side streets, you are hobbying too much. You might be an addict and need to rethink risk vs ultimate outcome.

The huddled masses of SP's I find lacking and not terribly interesting in general. Most of the ladies I see now need to have that "intangible quality" that draws me in to see them. Something that you can't put into words, but when you find it, you absolutely know it and it is very attractive. I hobby only with extra funds only. My RL stuff (bills, food, family, work) comes before any play time, not difficult to arrange if you do your planning.
