I imagine it is tolerated here in KC and other relatively smaller areas. But TX could have so many posts because of the number of girls there it could get out of hand.

If I remember correctly it was stated by ownership that allowing threADs would save the volunteer moderators time and energy in avoiding determining what actually
IS a threAD and they conversely would save dealing with policing/removing them - but that the members could still express their displeasure with threADs directly to the ladies that post them and call out those ladies that take advantage of the policy change allowing them (as they do in Texas,
A LOT), and subsequently, such discourse would encourage their removal (the threAD) from the discussion boards through peer rejection rather than through policy. If the majority of the gentlemen accept threADs in a specific area, that would then be used guide the working policy of that particular sub-forum.
I'd hate to see - and I'm certainly not saying this has happened here in KC or in any other sub-forum I frequent - but I would hate to see threADs become something
defended by the moderators, other than to say that threADs are allowed per the policy of the board. By that, I mean to say that I can see where it could bring a whole new set of issues to bear if moderators were called upon to make a determination of what is or is not allowed in a threAD, as it would probably end up taking even more time and cause even greater dissatisfaction to deal with threADs in such a manner than it did to have the policy to remove them in the first place . . .
If the male members want to rally against threADs, that was kind of the point in allowing them in the first place - to let the members "police" threADs through popular opinion. At least that is how it was explained to me straight from "the top" . . .
