Mara Rooney made the US version but the Sweedish one was better, closer too the book, and made money. Sony lost their butt on the US version.
BTW the Sweedish one has a VERY good English track so you don't have to watch the subtitles.
Couple of years ago there was a gal named Abbey Peacock wirh a huge Peacock on her back. Never met her but wanted to. Reminded me of Lisbeth Salander.
