Longer than expected to unload??? (wish I had this issue)

Definitely (A) - for me!

IF I don't have anything else planned for the day/evening...it's all good.

I've had peeps go over 1-2 hrs...and not paid an extra dime. If I allow things to run over, that's on me. If the gent tips, of course that's very generous and always appreciated.

Ultimately it's up to the provider if she's a clock watcher or not.

To each their own - YMMV with different providers.

I treat this as my real life "hobby"...that's why I've adopted the saying below:
"Yes it's work. But when it's fun, it feels a lot less like work."

I think it's incumbent upon the guy to say something, up to and including saying "it ain't happenin'." We know when we're close and we know if it's gonna be difficult to "finish" within the allotted time. As a result, I think it's kind of rude to just sit there bangin' away long after the allotted time has expired. At least give her a chance to make the call. You might be surprised at the response you get if you give her that chance. But you have to be willing to accept the response no matter what it is. You did, after all, only pay for an hour's worth of consultation.
I agree, it is all about respect. Another reason the best people are found on ECCIE and P411. I, personally, have not had problems in this area. I've met fantastic people & been rewarded handsomely for my time. I think the 15 min rule of thumb is pretty "across the board", at least that I've found. Since it is so widely known, it has become part of being "respectful".

If it takes 15 min or less over the agreed time, I would not ask extra donation for that. I never check the time anyways.

Hell, I recently saw a traveling provider from San Diego that had set her phone alarm for 60 minutes and went off as I was close. Talk about a buzz kill. She jumped right up and said we were done.

That sucked.

I agree, how long you went over is important. I don't sweat 10 mins...but 20 mins? Uncool. Originally Posted by Alyssa Nicole

Second, never had the chance to run over, but I have paid for an hour and have left twice 15-20 minutes and even 30 minutes early. Nothing to do with bad session, just time constraints, and never having time to spend entire hour. Not much of MSOG guy either.

So in that case, do I get the discount? Seriously, though, I think it would be uncool to spend more than 5-10 minutes over the time set, unless its like getting to you know you before the session time.

If you pay for an hour, then that's what you get. If you run overtime, unless it's okay with her, you compensate for that time. Too be honest, it's the right thing to do.

Also the links in this post should provide help those who have trouble understanding something..and maybe even a little more humor.

But seriously..humor is always based on some degree of truth. There are some valid points here worth considering. If anything, it makes the point that I wasted too f'n much time today]

It depends on what caused the UPLOAD DELAY.. the SERVICE PROVIDER or the USER?. Lets face it: when the USER signs on, and connects to the server. he needs to accomplish a particular task for which the SERVICE PROVIDER should be prepared to facilitate with properly maintained and functioning equipment. If the user agreement (showcase) ever mentions or implies something like: "This provider does not charge for services, only time." he should decline because this phrase is merely line coding from the provider's proprietary programming language that effectively translates to "you are going to get screwed".. but not in the way the user had in mind.

SURGE PROTECTION: Some providers consider surge protection to be optional and do not make it available when the user signs on. Extra time for trips to the drugstore should not be counted.

LOGIN DELAYS: The clock starts after login. If the Provider requires cumbersome login procedures, this time should not count against the user. ie: requires a shower even though he already did so before arrival.

GEFARGLING: Other examples are wasting time with buzz killing chit chat, known as gefargling. The PROVIDER'S talking about her family, dog,.. or even worse, asks USER about his family, personal life, or talks about her husband/boyfriend... The USER should definitely not be penalized for time spent having to listen to the provider complaining ..about anything. If complaining occurs, extra time wont cut it. at that point he will not want to spend the extra time, or login ever again.. he probably sought the provider to get away from that and should be paid to put up with it.

BANDWIDTH: If the provider cannot supply adequate bandwidth, uploading will take more time. In such cases, extra time should be allowed free of charge. Condoms already reduce sensation thereby prolonging the upload process, sure they stretch but they are not one size fits all. A skinny condom reduces sensation even more, depleting bandwidth to a slow, sometimes painful crawl. [FYI: You wouldn't know it by the name, but Trojan Magnum Ecstasy provides the best "bandwith". They are about 1/4" wider in diameter tham Magnum XLs]

USER SUPPLIED MAINTENANCE OF PROVIDERS EQUIPMENT: Why should a USER pay service the provider's equipment? Many times, the PROVIDER wants and needs this but it takes a lot of time. In a perfect world the USER should get reimbursed for this too. At the very least he should be allowed extra time to match what he spent getting the PROVIDER'S equipment up to speed and working properly. Now if the PROVIDER has to spend extra time on USER EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE..well then no problem, the clock should keep on ticking.

SPOTTY SERVICE/EQUIPMENT CRASHES: When the service provider says "I am so sorry, I didn't know it was that time of the month" .. extra time is not an issue. The user should immediately sign out and seek another provider. He should not have to pay anything at all for such abuse. He should be paid here too.. but technically it would not be pay..more like compensation for damages.....unless, of course the user is a vampire.. then I suppose he might view the "user supplied maintenance" topic a little differently too.

DECEPTIVE MARKETING PRACTICES: This is not exactly a cause of delay but is something the PROVIDER should consider when evaluating whether or not to grant extra time. All PROVIDERS, even the good ones find themselves inflating their equipment specifications or exaggerating coverage area. They do this because they feel they have to in order to compete with all of the other PROVIDERS who do the same. So if you gave the USER a map that promised coverage in his area, but that wasnt exactly true.. give the user a little extra time to compensate for all the dropped connections he is forced to deal with.

I have had a bias in favor of ladies who chose to induce me to return by throwing a bit of extra time my way. Usually, we "clicked" and I was happy to stay as long as she seemed comfortable having me around. I rarely bring a lot of extra money to appointments, but her so-called "tip" was my booking another appointment (usually at least two hours) before I went out the door.

This extra time was normally more hanging out and chatting than extra hot and sweaty action time, but there have been some outstanding and memorable exceptions.

There have been situations where it still did not work out and, with hindsight, a tip would have been more fair. However, there were at least two outstanding cases when the lady that chose this "more generous with the time" business method collected THOUSANDS from me over a period of years. The two ladies are both retired, but I do remember them fondly.

Even when I regularly saw ladies that were loose with the time, there were cases where it was clear that they had something else to do (another appt? pick up the kids? - who cares!) shortly after my appointment was scheduled to end. Those times I was out the door on the dot. Sometimes, it was me - I had to be out the door on the dot. I still won't forget the time (very late one night) where it was clear from that goodbye kiss at the door that leaving was not a good idea (but I had to).

I have been trained by a few of the ladies, in person or via posts, that it is their business. They pick the way they want to do things. We can follow along or go elsewhere if we are not happy with it.

I rarely go into a new appt (or even a repeat one) expecting extra time. Also, I am usually amazed if a lady lets on via advertising or posts that she will do this. In my opinion, she should firmly hold onto the right to shove the guy out the door at the appointed time.

Even when I see in a review, or a series of reviews and comments that a lady is "not a clockwatcher", I do not expect that I will get the privilege. YMMV rules around here. At best, mention of this "loose with the time" trait is modestly more likely to get me to try for an appointment.

I've paid a half hour rate and only taken 15-20 minutes so frequently that I really don't feel bad on the rare occasions when I pay a half hour rate and take 35-45 minutes. I'd bet that plenty of guys, maybe even the majority, are paying a half hour and popping in half that time, or paying an hour and leaving after 45 minutes, so in my opinion it all balances out in the end. In fact, I'd posit that any girl who chimes in here and says she expects extra money if it goes a few minutes over will end up on many a do-not-see list.
From the guy perspective a couple of things, One, I'm sure most guys do not finish exactly on time, that said I'm SURE quite a few appts are cut short, just because there was a mutually consensual ending early. Guy was done, girl was happy the guy was happy and both were ready to go. No one is discussing refunds for unspent time, that seems ridiculous, so why would taking a little longer be any different? This is coming from a guy that takes a while, so it is what it is.

Kind of like what was said earlier, "it's a providers choice to be a clock watcher or not"

I rarely bring much more than the donation for the first visit, you never know what can happen. If I went over and didn't know it, and looked up and all of a sudden our 1hr became 1.5 hrs, and I was expected to pay more, I would simply not be able to. I would not have it on me, most of the time. If I still had not finished, I would not be running to the ATM to fix that issue either.

that being said, I do think something is appropriate, if the situation didn't cause the delay (meaning late, or showering or not getting into activities quickly enough) I have NEVER been offended by a ladyfriend politely reminding me that our time is up, and ask me if I would like to extend our session or call it a day there. I would simply make the choice based on what was going on at the time. and I don't think anyone would think less of anyone doing the same.

I do think there is a difference between 5-10min and I would say probably 20min and the hobbyist is taking advantage. But some providers that advertise an "unrushed" or "flat rate" session should probably consider that.

I know I have not done any BNG even with ladies that are generous with their time, just because that would be unfair, as I'm sure that would be a 15-20min expectation, not a 45min best case scenario. Not bragging, it's actually more nervous the first time than anything that causes my delay. Once I'm comfortable with a woman, I'm more of a regular guy.
When I was a LOT younger I was in a hot tub room in a west coast state with a girl who had just done an expenses paid Playboy photo shoot. I was in heaven. Anyway I booked an hour. We talked and bubbled and fooled around and got down to business and while I was drilling for bunny oil the guy came on through the intercom and said,

"Five minutes left" and I pushed the talkback button all hot and bothered and panted "How hard is it to get an extra 15 minutes?"

The guy came back on laughing and said "Well, how hard is it?"

I was too stupid for words and he came back pretty quick and said "Your getting it so you got it, see you in 20 my man".

So if you're running long or slow, ask for an extension and cough some green. It's only fair.
