Are Americans getting dumber?

BareBackBigLouie is definitely getting dumber.
But that can be explained because of his syphilitic brain.
Privatization is a bad bad idea. If you want to see even more inequality in educational opportunities. Like these charter schools that I have been reading about apparently some areas shut down public schools and opened up private charter schools. Originally Posted by Sexyeccentric1

If all you want for your children is a free ride and able to dress, look, and act like a thug and have the schools continue to pump out derelicts lacking the discipline or education to compete in the real world, yea, public education is right for your children. Geez, look at Noble's academia performance compared to the public, union ran schools, should be obvious that making parents accountable is working. What is wrong with holding parents responsible for the behavior of their children while they are in school so that the others can learn?

You obviously didn't read any of the stuff I posted. Looks like you just skipped to selective parts and made gross generalizations and cliche responses. Which does make me wonder about your education or lack there of..lol

Need to raze the Department of Education and return those responsibilities to those with the Constitutional authority to manage it. The states, localities, or (shock!) the people! Federalizing education has been and continues to be a disaster.

Private schools get the best students. Of course there are exceptions but that is the rule.

It would be like comparing health insurance cost and results with cherry picked patients from the private sector and Medicare, the private sector gets younger healthier patients.

Medicare gets old broken down patients.

You are not looking at the real Causality.

You must be proud. My kid is a doctor. Did it in spite of the public school, not because of it. Public school was a hindrance all the way.

If all schools were private, then all students would be better off.

Education money is being pissed away for so called administrative costs. I read someplace that we spend 57% of education money on bureacracy. That's why private schools do a better job for half the cost. They actually care about effieciency. Originally Posted by joe bloe
