Yeah. Going into Iraq is certainly up there. I may have to give you that one, OldT.
The one thing that we all have to take in consideration when speaking of Iraq is if we had not went in and did away with the entire Saddam Dynasty, where would we be now.

Those two thug sons of his would in all likely hood have already consolidated their power, and their hold on the Country. These were genuinly evil people, on the scale of Joe Stalin, Pol Pot, Hitler, Mao, and a host of other heads of "Thugocrisys" who would stoop to any level to keep their hold on power.

Look what is happenning in Syria as we speak. Sooner or later, someone is going to have to go in there and put a bullet in that "thugs" head.

Why is it our business? Why is it worth American lives and money? It's not our problem. It's a terrible situation but I don't see why we should spend American money and blood to get rid of a despot just so another despot can eventually run the country. We have to quit being the world policeman and start taking care of ourselves here at home. The best thing for freedom in the world is an economically solid, militarily strong, FREE United States. Right now, we are none of those things.
Obama approved the killing of an unarmed old man who could have been the most valuable intelligence asset we could have apprehended. He blew it. Very poorly thought out mission. In fact, the only proof we have that he got Bin Laden is what the media and administration have told us. There's no body, Obama made sure of that. This thing stinks to high heaven. A bigger bumbling mistake has yet to be made in our military endeavors. Originally Posted by CuteOldGuy

The good thing about the Corps is that every one of them is an expert on the Corps.
