I dont see it rude at all. I let it be known up front that I am a big man because I know not all women are ok with that and while they are a provider they still have the choice.

Could her decline to host been more tactful? Perhaps. However, since no one here seems to know the individual, it is all speculation at this point. For all we know, this might have been the extent of her elocution, and what was said was the most polite way she could express herself. Again, all speculation. Personally, I would have been appreciative of her forthrightness and not having my precious time squandered.

For the record, I've been "passed." It wasn't like this, though. Back when I lived in DFW, I made an appointment with a provider who gave me an address she said was in Keller...and no such place existed there. When I called her to ask if she meant FW, she essentially told me I was playing games. I later learned (via ECCIE) that she's known for being a bit of a flake.

Maybe she was around her boyfriend/lover that she felt he was looking over her shoulder so she said pass, or she got scared that her phone might get taken away from her by her lover so she could use some kind of great excuse.
