As for the trip, I think that an agreement that ends the second of President Bush's wars of choice is a significant event and one that should be celebrated by all Americans. In addition to wrecking the economy by trying to fight these wars without paying for them, these unnecessary wars have exacted a very heavy toll on the American military. I think the President personally traveling half way around the world to personally express his thanks for their sacrifice is perfectly appropriate.
