Please be fair to the guy. He didn't claim to have "a lot of education"; he merely said that he has a "Stanford degree." It might be something like a B.A. in sociology. (I sort of suspect that if he has a Master's or Ph.D. in math, physics, or any of the engineering sciences, he would have boasted about it.)

In a perfect world, that's the sort of tax system we'd have. Of course, we would also have to roll back spending to the levels of many years ago, so it'll never happen. (Another reason it will never happen is, of course, that it would curtail the dispensation of political favors by congress.)
