Advice from the community/No good deed goes unpunished

One of my fav ladies, a "regular", reached out to me for help last fall, with little hesitation, I helped her with far more than what Sporty just lost; terms of repayment were discussed/agreed upon. She has been totally incommunicado, no PM, text, e-mail or phone call response ever since.

I know where she lives but would never post on her doorstep unannounced/un-invited; I would forget about the 2 hunno's and move-on; if you identify her, would be for the good of the rest of the community/maybe prevent another from the same fate but be ready for her to respond.....with a different version of the story. You have to post an alert. She took 200 bucks from you, didn't pay it back, didn't make it right, doesn't appear she will attempt to make it right, is ignorning messages, text, and phone calls ( over A MONTH AGO no less). Yet you won't reveal her name... Boggles my farkin mind...

If it turns out to be a girl i like, it probably wont stop me from seeing her but i will pay attention. If it is a girl i was strongly thinking about seeing, i would probably drop her down the list and see if any other people had problems. If it was a girl i was thinking about trying if who i realy want is unavailible, i would probably take care of things myself.

Truer words have rarely been spoken and "clowns" is a much kinder descriptive term than I would have used.

We have discussed and cussed this topic many, many, many times and what the OP did was nothing more than a teaser as have been the numerous other, "I need your advice" threads regarding the exact same subject.

The only thing missing from the OP's post was the littany of the number of texts, emails, PM's, phone calls, etc., he has sent hoping for a response, but alas, none arrived. Go figure!

Either put her name in the post or don't tell the story at all.

I know most of the background on this situation, as the OP and I have communicated about this. I recommended that 1) he e-mail her and wait for a response (she did not); 2) do not go to her house - he could be considered a stalker; 3) he post her name to advise others of the situation - but he could be attacked by the WKs on the board.

Needless to say, I know the provider to which the OP is referring. She has not participated in any of her normal board activities for over a month and has not responded to e-mails in that same amount of time. I think that he needs to post her name - if she's still providing, she may respond; if she's gone UTR, she may or may not respond; if she's retired, then it won't matter anyway.

Usually when a provider has reached the end of her time in the hobby, you can see it in their actions, they start No showing, giving poor performance and then they start doing rip off's. This is why it is even more important that when an established provider starts acting different then their norm that the community be alerted. It is usually a sign that their star has burned out and they are leaving the hobby at least mentally and they no longer care about their reputation or who they hurt.
