Name your own rates.... ?

I thought long and hard about your ad when I 1st saw it . I didn't want to be cheap or insulting and was a bit put off with the idea of cuming up with a good number so I decided it was In my best interest to not put in offer in . FYI you are on my todo list and hope to see you in the future.

Jez, unfortunately you were trying to increase your income by lowering your rates with a "you name it" special and it back fired. There are those that are always looking for the "deal" and tend to take advantage of the situation. I'm sorry that those mongers tried to take that advantage of you! Lowering rates does not always = more income, in fact it sometimes causes a loss as in your case. Sounds like you lost a lot of valuable time rejecting rediculous offers. Next time you need to increase your income, try offering extended time like extra 1/2 hr for the 1 hr rate or thowing in a reduced 1/2 price 2nd visit price after the 1st scheduled visit.
Unlike Wal-Mart, you don't have additional products that the consumer will possible purchase to make up for the loss when they come in for the special advertised item. I apoligize for all the deadbeats that tried to take advantage of you. Just not right!
