Yep, you can definitely channel surf as much as you can watch. I'd spend an hour each Friday just checking the weekend movies on hbo, showtime, cimemax, stars etc.. just to find one or two to tape and catch later. I think I have the 200 or 250 channel package and only have about 50 set in favorites for viewing, and only about 20 I actually watch regularly (what a waste). Problem is they make you get the 250 package to get the 3 channels you actually want. I need to get one of those smart tv's so I can watch hulu, dish online etc.. on my tv and not on my laptop.
