since you are back, what was your previous handle and is it still banned?

Think about how the former Governor of NY got busted.
Paper trail.
So what if it comes across as some generic item. The moment your SO hears on the news that such and such hooker agency got busted and the charges were under that name, you can bet your ass she'll check or remember it.
Also, unless a client uses an anonymous pre-paid card, and is there truly anything really anonymous in the days of cameras, if so inclined, the police could request the name and address of every card holder who had a transaction with said hooker agency and even if they couldn't prove you did anything illegal, that has never really stopped law enforcement from asking you in for a visit now has it? Even if you are not the target, you could become collateral damage very easily.
Paypal is not bound by the same rules as banks and since they aren't, as far as I know and understand, the privacy laws about record keeping and privacy don't apply and Paypal would most likely hand over the information as soon as asked for it.
Why do you think they can simply freeze your money and keep it if they want?
AND, last I checked, Paypal requires an actual bank account and credit card that have both been verified before allowing you to accept payments so they can offer their purchase protection plans.
