Crazy Repuke stuff...no. 5

Guess what Mother Fuckers. When it comes time to Die Die. I do not have insurance and have not for 2 years. I probably never will again. I work with someone who just collected unemployment benifits for 2 yrs. She just wrote a check for $18,000.00 for a boobjob and other cosmedic crap. I'm hurting for money. So I have a guy I used to work with from El Salvador and his GF move in. They want me to write a letter so they can get food stamps. They got no kids. She gets money for her student loans. He's got a green card. They both work full time. I am only charging them $500.00 a month. I said Hell No...No...No...We do not deserve shit. If you want somthing go fucking earn it. If you already are set, you should not want me to pay for a bunch of FREELOADERS. Just because you can afford it...
Not necessarily.

It is easy to forget that for decades the United States HAD a health care system that was the envy of the world. We had the finest doctors and hospitals, patients received high-quality, affordable medical care, and thousands of privately funded charities provided health services for the poor. I worked in an emergency room where nobody was turned away for lack of funds. People had insurance policies for serious health problems but paid cash for routine doctor visits.

But you don't mind turning on your fellow Americans and bashing them for doing the exact same thing. You are fucking hypocrite.
I'd love to read the report if you would repost the link. I'm sure it dwells on availability and implementation. I can't imagine another country having better health care available than we do, but I can easily imagine better implementation of same.

Is there a specific treatment of some rare disease or condition that Americans have to leave the country to obtain?

That would be very useful information for all of us to have. Originally Posted by trynagetlaid

These are a bit old (2000), but are the kinds of things I am after. US comes just below Costa Rica.

http://pages.stern.nyu.edu/~wgreene/...P-Study-30.pdf

US is 37th on overall health performance, 72nd on level of health,

http://www.who.int/whr/2000/en/whr00_en.pdf

My analysis of table 2 puts US 42nd rank on probability of males dying between 15 and 59.

Table 5 on life expectancy puts US at 24th (and UK at 14th - could do better).

Table 8 has expenditure for US as 13.7% of GDP, $4187 per capita (WOW!!!). In comparison UK per capita is $1303, switzerland $3564, sweden $2456, germany $2713. UK lags behind other major european countries, at least in 1999.

I wish I could find more recent figures.

Do you think there is a problem?

No problem that can't be solved with advice from an ignorant, arrogant European who hates America except when he needs health care or to make money.

Let me help you.

You are not able to provide anything to refute the WHO well researched report that US health care is not even in the top 30.

When I provide facts you respond with insults (OK, that's the nature of this forum).

- I am not ignorant
- I am not arrogant
- I have both European and American leanings
- I do not hate America, I hate stupidity where ever it is found, I find most Americans I work with highly sensible and intelligent
- the only time I needed health care in the US I paid for it out of my own pocket
- yes, I do make money out of American companies, and other American companies profit from my profit.

I will leave you to mark the accuracy of your statement yourself.

Once again, given the clear presentation of unbiased reports by world authorities, do you think US has a current problem with health care, or is the current status quo acceptable?
