Calling me a "nightmare monger" reminds me of the parable of the frogs in the pot of water that is slowly getting hotter and hotter. The increase in temperature happens so gradually, the frogs never get alarmed and jump out of the water. You're one of the frogs telling everyone to calm down, everything's going to be fine.

We're bankrupt because of entitlement spending. This is the time to start downsizing the government, not dramatically increasing it. The liberals are trying to put out the fire with gasoline.

I agree Texas is god awful and I blame a lot of that on our good ole Governor Rick Perry and his predecessor.

Anyway it is hard to find a really good doctor here in Texas nowadays. The old timers from a different era are retiring and some of the really good doctors are moving out of Texas, some even moving out of this country.

I had 3 really good doctors that I saw (every one of them was Jewish..lol), and they all moved, and I got stuck trying to find someone who gave the level of care they did. Have yet to find the doctors who can match these doctors quality of service and care and concern for the patient. Originally Posted by Sensia

case in point, I had an accident and suffered a svevrely bruised right calf muscle ... swelling was bad enough I couldnt get my calf through my pant leg and didnt sleep for almost 4 days because of the pain ... saw a Dr 3 times. My treatment consisted of measuring my calf to make sure it wasnt swelling any more, and some sample anti inflamatory meds in little packs ... I ask for something mild to help me sleep and was told to take an asprin ... hell, I'd been eating asprin like gumdrops. No xray to see if I cracked a bone, no meds, no nothing except the $150 for the office call and examination ... what fukn examination? HMO medicne sucks.

Hey anyone still investing in gold?
Its $1591 per ounce now. I guess all those people who bought last year for $1900 ++ are pretty pissed for months already.

Just don't forget that I warned you! Originally Posted by waverunner234
