Because your answer is incorrect. You don't speak for everyone. You're obsessed with stereotypical physical perfection, and there are plenty of providers far less conventionally attractive than the OP who make plenty of money in Houston.

I have to admit that it made me chuckle when Mr. "I'll take a dump on your parade" got his feelings hurt. Originally Posted by blowpop

But I wouldn't be surprised if my thoughts were echoed by the guys who visit Eccie to enhance their hobby experiences, as opposed to those who visit to get pats on the back from other members of the He-Man Women Haters Club.

And let's get back to the OP's question: "Could I be welcomed?" Unless welcoming her is impossible, and the positive responses in this thread demonstrate that she can, your answer isn't only incorrect, it shows either a lack of comprehension of the initial question, utter cluelessness about the Houston hobby scene, or someone who isn't sharp enough to formulate a truly witty response.

I expect more from you, Wakeup - after all, you call people out for not understanding questions all the time. It would we weird if the high expectations you hold for others aren't applied to yourself.

wakeup is wakeup, and this I understand. Actually he's a pretty good and stand up guy, plus he's a pretty smart fellow.

The questions you should ask yourself isn't about wakeup. The question you should ask yourself is this............can a person create a board persona and then live what that creation is when they're online? I feel strongly that a person can get caught up in their board persona, but they're so into it, it becomes a second person, or online in one site or another.

I've enjoyed being Dear John, but it was another life in another time and I still enjoy the hobby boards, but at the end of the day, I don't want my whole life to be summed up as being Dear John. No doubt there is far more to wakeup and Blowpop than hobby board members will ever know.

Second, I'm required to be witty now?

Look BP, we can go round this pole all day long dude, but the mods will put an end to it soon enough. I'm answering these questions with my opinions. You're answering them with your opinions. You seem to want to take every chance to ridicule my answers though. How about you just play you and I'll be me and I'll agree to ignore your opinion of me if you stop bringing my name up every time you sit on that telephone pole of yours. How's that?

You raise a very good point, old friend. Online personas are often very different than real life - anonymity and no fear of consequences can bring out a very different side of people.

I just don't understand the need to be rude to a woman you've never met when simply ignoring the thread altogether is so much easier. But that's me.
