Does This Happen Alot?

ive had a provider, not show up twice... no call no show, I was pissed
I called her and txt'ed her several times, to no avail.
(well now the good part)
she would contact me by TXT the next day and apologize
and say next visit (half price) which I really liked and it vwas true
This all leads top a viscious cycle. The provider wants to prebook before traveling to fill up her schedule.. The client books an appointment which the provider makes and then cancels due to not prebooking enough appointments to travel. Then the provider doesn't understand why when she advertises a pending visit, no one wants to prebook.
I have had this happen several times and will not prebook with a visitor for that reason.
This formula works pretty well with me with visiting providers: Book in advance and confirm the appointment the day before. If a provider decides to cancel her trip, she usually does it at least a day in advance. Sometimes they will contact me first to say they are not making the trip, but sometimes I get that information only in response to my confirmation message. In either case I don't get an unpleasant surprise on the day of the scheduled appointment.

You advertise your product in ROCHESTER for a few weeks, tout its benefits, describe why its better then the other products out there.Post a number so interested parties can contact you. Then you wait for calls.
If no one in ROCHESTER showed any interest in your product , would you still visit?

It's a job. Similar to a hobbyist's job. Hobbyists work to pay bills and try to get ahead. Ladies work to pay bills and give head, woops ! I mean try to get ahead.

I doubt any hobbyists would travel out of town for business using his own money for any length of time and tolerate not getting paid.

I commend people who schedule in advance. I feel they respect the value of my job.

Many of them may be booked up by that time, and that might tempt me to contact less reliable BP providers in desperation and make unwise decisions. I only contact visiting providers who have stellar reputations and whom I find highly appealing. With such providers mood tends to take care of itself in my case. Of course, we all have our own approach to the hobby, so I did not mean to prescribe my "formula" to everyone.

Stick to locals.

Travel to Buffalo or Syracuse if there is someone you want to see.

When you do, have a Plan B.

It is a crap shoot. Originally Posted by OccasionalStray

In about 3 1/2 years I have had to cancel 10 trips It sucks but life does happen and prebooks do cancel. Plus I live in an area that gets more snow than Erie and Buffalo. If I don't have a set number of prebooks or multi hour prebookers I'm not making a trip.
