What an idiot. One of the reasons I left Chicago was I couldn't stand Daley (no, he doesn't deserve to be called Mayor Daley). And then the people elect, Rahm. I guess people in Chicago love to have high property taxes, crappy streets, pay for parking even when parked outside their own home, pay for parking meters that make a foreign company profitable (99-year lease, that should be illegal, but our Republican Texas Governor did the same with the tollways), etc.

I personally will not eat at Chick-Fil-A because I believe in equal rights and I don't want to contribute to a business that does not. But that's my point of view and I'm choosing what to do with my money. But having a Mayor step in like this? That's ridiculous. Originally Posted by icuminpeace

The staff at our Chick-Fil-A are always happy, friendly and courteous. The place is always clean. The food is . . . acceptable and fast. What I appreciate is that the kids that work there are learning valuable lessons in customer service. It will take them far in later career choices. We also have one Burger King where the staff is incredible. Unlike most other fast food places I've see, and this place hires and serves a poorer segment of our community. The kids and young adults working there are going to be so much better off in the future for what their manager is teaching them. Sure, it's a burger flipping job, but they are becoming great at serving the customer. It's very impressive.

I don't really go any other FF places. The staff is bored and rude at most. They don't seem to care about their job, or the customer. They will be working there a long time.

I'm sure I had a point here somewhere. Let me know if you find it. LOL!

One thing is for sure. This won't stop the blacks from eating there.

I don't know Bukaka, you tell me since you seem to know where each racial and ethnic group eat. I don't pay attention to who eats where as I have more important things to do with my time than to keep track of people's skin color. racial or ethnic background as they enter or exit a restaurant. How do you manage to do this type of research? Will you be publishing your findings? Send me a copy will you, so you can enlighten me.

I'm for equal treatment of everyone by the government, under the law, but I oppose special priviledges for any group and I'm opposed to marriage between people of the same sex.

Marriage is a universal institution the purpose of which is to provide security for children and for procreation.

Marriage isn't supposed to be just a fun thing to do as part of some romantic illusion. That's not real marriage, and when that's all it is there will be a divorce quite soon.

Allowing people of the same sex to enter into marriage reflects a total misunderstanding of what marriage is, and re-defines it in such way as to eliminate its meaning altogether.

That's why "gay marriage" is a destruction of marriage altogether.
