I personally will not eat at Chick-Fil-A because I believe in equal rights and I don't want to contribute to a business that does not. But that's my point of view and I'm choosing what to do with my money. But having a Mayor step in like this? That's ridiculous.

I'm for equal treatment of everyone by the government, under the law, but I oppose special priviledges for any group and I'm opposed to marriage between people of the same sex.
Marriage is a universal institution the purpose of which is to provide security for children and for procreation.
Marriage isn't supposed to be just a fun thing to do as part of some romantic illusion. That's not real marriage, and when that's all it is there will be a divorce quite soon.
Allowing people of the same sex to enter into marriage reflects a total misunderstanding of what marriage is, and re-defines it in such way as to eliminate its meaning altogether.
That's why "gay marriage" is a destruction of marriage altogether.
