So I had a good excuse to cancel.

I'm not gonna bash you man. You went off your gut. i do agree with the others that you should have contacted her to cancel and not NCNS. I had a similar situation last December. I had seen the girl at her normal hotel/motel incall in South Fort Worth. One day I call to see if she is available. She said yes but her car was broke down and asked if i could come to her home for incall. I had no problem with it but became weary when she said it was off Rosedale near hospital district in Ft Worth. Those that know Ft Worth know it is kinda like South Oak Cliff in Dallas.

I get there about 30 minutes early to drive around and check out the places to park There were plenty of businesses accross the street to watch. I park and wait then I see her pull up in her car into her driveway and she gets out of the car with 3 ghetto gang droopy pants hood rats and they go inside the house. I leave, send a text saying I had to reschedule for another time. No way I was going in that house.

Well I hope she doesn't put you on "blast" for doing what you did but this thread is going to hurt you a little bit if a provider decides to search your posting style.

You stepped in a little bit of a trap here. You were better off saying nothing at all about it. I'm sure it is not to late for you to contact this provider and offer a small token of respect for her time you wasted.

Trying to justify yourself on here is NOT going to help anything out. It is HOW you handle it from here on will be the most telling about you as a hobbyist.

Well HOTROD how can it be 7 mins when in your original post you said you arrived 30 mins early. Hmmm. 30 early. Plus drive time plus negotiating time equals a lot mre than 7 mins. So I stand by my statement. You did NOT have a good reason and should have given her some $ for wasting her time. I also hope she puts you on blast in the back channels so the other providers cam see how much of a stand up guy you are. Originally Posted by Texasquest

1:00pm Sat - PM provider and tell her I've decided to take the plunge.

1:15pm Sat - Provider replies and says that is great. She is available from 2 to midnight.

1:30pm Sat - PM provider and ask if 2 is good. I assume it is and start heading north on 35. (also assuming going somewhere near 635 and Josey)

1:40pm Sat - Provider request refs and last two providers I've seen.

1:45pm Sat - PM Provider with requested information

1:50pm Sat - Provider says I'm good to go (not sure if she actually had time to call refs, usually a red flag for me), but that it needs to be 2:30 because she had not left home yet. Also requested me to pick up protection (another red flag)

1:55pm Sat - agree to 2:30 and that I'll pick up protection (confirmation of appointment and actual location). Immediately exited WALNUT HILL and headed south toward Regal Row.

2:02pm Sat - because of the short, no traffic, on a Saturday drive I do a drive by of now know location. Cancel immediately.

Hope that clears it up for you. BTW, sorry to waste electrons, but wanted to make sure Inspecter Hotrod had all the facts.

Why do people think it was a NCNS?

I agree with a few of you. Just should have kept to myself. At the end of the day, my point was that I'm decided to not risk going into a crappy hotel on the trinity river that had some torn up topless girl on the 6th floor cussing out a dude in the parking lot. Oh well, Hobby happy.

I can't say that would have made me nervous, in fact I probably would have been reassured it wasn't an LE setup. To each their own though, I guess I can imagine a number of scenarios one might worry about. So I take it you limit yourself to their residences or offices then?

RFPD,

You had more than 3 "red flag" events, beginning with the hotel rule. I certainly think you should listen to whoever is waving your flags!

Why do people think it's a NC/NS? Because that's a lump term like "GFE" or "Spinner" that people throw around without specifics. It was a last minute cancellation, not a NC/NS, but there's no cool acronym to go with it.

I agree that your last minute cancellation wasn't really enough time to be considered "polite." But both sides were informed. No one left wondering what was going on, or waiting around on someone else. It was a waste of everyone's time, and no one wins at that.

Overall, I think you should take more time with scheduling, allow much more time for screening, and listen to the head on your shoulders (not in your pants) when making choices about where you will travel for your playtime.

Continue to hobby safe, everyone.

There's some sleazy hotels in Arlington a bunch of girls used to work out of like the place you described. You could drive by there almost any time day or night and see a couple of cars jacked up on blocks in the parking lot with all four wheels gone. You did the right thing and the girl needs to choose a better hotel if she wants to see real gentlemen. Otherwise let the BP trollers have her.

Rfpd I'm not bashing you for keeping yourself safe. Just the way you went about it. You stated in the original post you knew that wasn't the best neighborhood. Yet you went and booked it anyway. And left the gal hanging. It would have been better to have trusted your gut and not booked at all. Or in the least do some more research since you admitted to stepping out of your normal routine. Though I feel for you it does nor releive you of the blame.

I am usually careful to the extreme, therefore you typically don't see any past alerts or negative comments from me about a particular provider (research is the reason).

As far as showing her respect (previous poster) considering the fact I didn't do an alert posting (very damaging to provider) or mention the actual hotel name (searchable and also damaging) or mention who the provider is (obviously), it was the best way I felt I could get usable info out and not damage any reputations.

Btw, yes I like to use parentheses

Trust me, if her rep is as good as you say it is, you wouldn't have damaged her rep.

I wish i could get references to respond in less than 10 minutes.... ijs
