Know of Any Good Mom & Pop Style Italian Restaurants

Hate. (lol) Actually, some of their appetizers are better now than before...great prices during happy hour, but their prices have gone off the charts for a chain restaurant.

There's a place at Wurzbach and Fredericksberg called "Aldo's." I've never been there, but I've been told by many people the food is very, very good. Expect to drop around 25-35 for the entree, and with wine and salad and what not, it will creep to 150+ easily.

It's definitely not Mom & Pop, but Maggiano's at the Rim has great food and a nice atmosphere. I would say it's probably my favorite place to go, outside of my own kitchen. I make a mean lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs!
