God willing, your Mom will defy the odds and bounce back. If God wills otherwise, your faith will carry you and your Dad through. You will know she will get better, either temporarily better here on earth or eternally better with her Heavenly Father.

Helping your Dad through this will help you even more, I think.

Thank you all so much for the prayers and warm wishes, it must be working because the doctors used the word “miraculous” this morning.

Yesterday between 7 & 9pm my moms heart stopped multiple times and each time, by the grace of God, they were able to resuscitate her extremely fragile body. When my dad and I left last night she was in a coma and on a breathing machine. When me and my dad went back to the hospital around 6 this morning she was still unresponsive, but we just stayed in the room and I talked to her and gently touched her body and then she opened her eyes and begin moving her hands, when the doctor saw this he came in and was visibly surprised to see her in that state.

She can't talk, but she definitely is cognitive enough to know what I was saying and she even gave me a little half smile. I have never in my life been so happy to see her pretty green eyes. I know she is not out of the clear yet, but I feel better knowing that she knows we are here and that she knows she is being taken care of.

It's funny because in true mom fashion, I can look at her and tell that if she could say anything to me right now, she’d tell me not to worry about her and be strong.

Thanks again everyone and please continue to keep her in your prayers she is not out of the woods yet.
