Hotel Cameras. Just a Paranoid Thought.

Lately I have been doing things differently in my hobby habits. I usually like outcalls and local girls. But lately I have been seeing some travelers. They seem to like to stay by the nice airport hotels and a lot of them take advantage of weekly rates or at least stay 3 or 4 days.

I'm not paranoid for my own safety because I think I will be fine. But with all the security cameras at the nice hotels like a Holiday Inn or a Drury what stops the manager from noticing a trend that say room 211 has 4 or 5 different men a day walk in and walk out in an hour. And then the next day another different 4 or 5 men walk in for an hour. I mean not guys who just walk thru the front lobby but cameras are everywhere. Does any one else wonder about this? Do providers ever think about this? Originally Posted by uparoundnoon

You're just being paranoid. It's an understandable concern, but hotels have their security cameras set up almost exclusively at entries/exits and at the lobby, I've never seen or worked in one that had surveillance in guestroom hallways.

Secondly, most hotels have a pretty small staff, and just don't have the man-power to have someone setting on their ass watching the cameras all day. And even in large resorts like a JW Marriott that have a full time security staff; if by some million to one chance an employee does notice hobbyish activity, they're not going to do anything about it (except maybe crack a joke in the back with their buddies). Hotel employees are just underpaid people waiting for five o'clock (or whenever) to roll around, they're not chaste knights out on a cockblocking crusade.

As one who travels a lot for RW obligations. I can state w/o hesitation that many hotels (BIG ones). Most certainly do have cameras up & down the guest hallways.
(not just at the exit points).

Now whether or not they're watched? I don't know. And don't care.
As when I choose to hobby, I conduct myself appropriately when I stay at upscale hotels and I don't need to pay a maid to bring me towels nor let the staff know what I choose to do in my paid hotel room. (that's an OBVIOUS hell NO, indiscretion).

Discretion is key. And if one let's discretion slip in just the slightest way to any hotel staff. Well, then...they're simply asking for trouble.

Cameras are everywhere we go in life. Hotels are no exception.
