Oh get you, and I agree. Some porn is great. Some porn is hot even when it isn't comfortable (some porn is hot BECAUSE it isn't comfortable -- on a desk or in public, for example).
I just don't want kids learning about sex from porn. They won't be learning about good sex. They won't be learning about safe sex, either. I don't mind porn, as long as kids realize that it is fiction, and i would hope they can get access to good sex education.

So much of porn just looks uncomfortable. Positions that look good on camera don't look like they'd be very fun. Like that spooning position on a couch with the guy against the back and the girl in front of him, almost falling off the couch and bracing her leg on the floor, with the other leg straight up in the air. Ouch!I had a dream about Porscha Ride a few years ago where we had a nice conversation about porn positions vs intimate positions. Much of the dream involved her giving me a crash course in various porn positions, and while it was uber fun, I could definitely see why those positions aren't desirable during more intimate encounters.
Plus in porn the people often don't even touch each other, besides crotch to crotch. Some of the best sex I've ever had was with our whole bodies pressed up against each other as close as we could get. You almost never see that in porn, since it doesn't look like much on camera. As pretty much the entire ECCIE universe knows, I dabbled in porn quite some time ago . . . I was represented by Jim South at World Modeling, I was filmed by Michael Ninn and Andrew Blake, and did a few uncredited scenes as well - stuff that was cut into various sundry Vivid and Wicked web-based material (almost ALL of my explicit stuff ended up online and not on DVD) . . . But, all that led to my introduction to the HBO guys and my appearance on Real Sex. So it was great for the "billing" I guess, it rounds out the resume so to speak . . . But, I am so far removed from a "PSE" experience that many are shocked to learn that I even entertained working in the industry previously . . . Personally, I am vastly more geared towards a slow, very intense, decidedly deliberate, intimate encounter - and I have been described as the "consummate GFE" experience, more than a few times by more than a few gentlemen throughout my career as a professional Escort. I believe pornography plays a role in sex education on many levels and there are many men that are vastly better off (for their and their partner's pleasure) for having seen it, and subsequently putting aspects of what they have seen and learned into play IRL, but, there are so few (if any) films (especially being produced today) that even come close to brushing on filming true intimacy, those showing encounters that are meaningful on a level depicting what a couple may honestly feel for each other during sex (or similar to what I can deliver over the course of a few sessions) that it is frankly, laughable! Most film now is mostly just so devoid of and divorced from what happens in real life that it is meaningless unless there is an existing basis of a relationship to build from when watching it and putting it into play. There are a couple of exceptions - a few Websites that get it right, IMO, (babesnetwork.com has some HD Glam porn that is pretty good) but those getting it right are few and far between. It would be wonderful to have a resource such as that which Cindy is building to showcase how to do it when it means something, rather than just facilitating release through imitating only what one sees on screen. Too many people look for the feeling to be present in the sexual act itself, and they ignore building their feelings prior to the act being performed. Giving a sense of intimacy is what I excel at in my work with many of my clients, and seeing things done with feeling, presented as an alternative to porn, would be incredibly beneficial for many people, IMHO. As for it being explicit, well, for most people, if you can't see it, it didn't happen. It can be explicit and still be true to life, again, IMHO. Sounds to me like it is a winner, I'll be checking it out.
