If you want to offer marketing advice to your clients you may want to start by letting them know that copying the text from another escort's ad or web site is a huge no no in this business.

I am not in the market for a site, but if I were I would never use a designer who features a web site in their portfolio with so much blatant plagiarism in it. You may want to consider running a check through copy scape, or google with any of the text that is submitted to you, because it is likely to hurt your business as I can not be the only one who feels this way.

THE FOLLOWING IS DIRECTLY OFF COPYSCAPE'S FAQ

Why does Copyscape find my site, when I have not stolen content?
The Copyscape plagiarism checker finds similar content online, but does not make judgments about which page
is the "original", or whether a page has been copied from another

BTW...Great photo of Natlie Woods for your avatar....

And even though I agree that folks viewing my sites as sites that have copied content would not be good for my business please understand that many times I do turn over a site to it's rightful paid in full owner to maintain and manage themselves so I can't police every change they might make. Not to mention if a client sends me content..... policing it might might be business suicide as well. What do I say to my client ..."BTW I checked the content you sent and you plagiarized it from someone.... so you need to send me different content. I have now called my client a thief...Not good for business.

But You are right it is definitely something to keep in mind...
I can certainly understand that you do not have control over the text once it is handed over to your client, but if I were you I would be extra careful with what you put in your portfolio because it does reflect upon you and your business. As far as the reverse plagiarism goes, Cat Elliot has been around for years, is highly respected by many companions, and has always had an excellent reputation , so it is highly unlikely that this woman has ever copied from anyone.

Thank you for that info... I will check into it but I am not in control of everything folks do with their sites. It truly isn't my job to police their words. In most cases the orignal content is produced by me but once I turn over a website I have no control and certainly can't police any changes. I never recommend copying anyone's words and you bring up a good point.

I suppose I should ask how is it that you are sure the plagiarism didn't take place in the reverse.

Is the text in the first post from the ads because that is not the text on Scarlett's site. I just looked it over to refresh my memory and although similar as I said above it is not the same.

In any respect I am off to slumber...I wish you all the best. Thanks for the valuable advice.

Katy & To All Reading This
I have emailed both EROS advertisers and asked them to look over the content on Scarlett's site. If they feel it is too much like their ad content I will gladly change what the websites says...( with Scarlett's Permission of course after all it is her property to do with as she pleases) That is the best I can do.
I have no idea who put what up first ( I built her site about 5 months ago) or if this is a strange coincidence and truly have no desire for anyone especially my business to suffer any indignity over this.
As I said to both advertisers I swear I did not copy your ad content I had never seen their ad content before last night ( not that I can remember) but I do read tons of ad and web content in this business. I truly wrote what Scarlett inspired in me by her demeanor and the way she conducts herself, not to mention the questionnaire that all my website clients fill out. Scarlett actually came to my home and spent a few days with me. So I got to know here well.

I take what Katy says very seriously. That is precisely why I thought twice before signing off last nite and looked into the content and changed my first response to her. Being a provider is one of the ways I pay my bills and put food on my table as does Scarlett. My Marketing business is the second way, but in may ways is more important to me since it is my exit strategy for being a provider. I love this industry and have the utmost respect for all in it. So it is very important that when someone here on ECCIE shines a negative light on my business that I respond. I am fully aware that one cannot please all the people all the time but I do try. I have also been told things like "don't feed the trolls" That when you respond you just ag on the person.
But I try never to see anyone's opinion about me and my business as just trolling for an argument or trouble. I am however mystified by the "Pile ON" effect here on ECCIE.
This advertising medium here on ECCIE is different by most standards, in that most times when businesses advertise the ads are usually not rebutted just underneath them. With the exception of political ads where there is a true and present agenda.
Most times ads just go into print, run in a commercial or on the web. and the consumer makes the choices or ask around etc.... I am not saying anything is wrong with that and certainly not when someone does there homework as Katy did. I definitely feel there was no agenda however since not truly know what transpired I would have probably chosen to PM her instead of posting under the ad. But that is just me. I usually like to give folks the benefit of the doubt.

But the truth is.....Here anyone with or without an agenda can comment on the ad.As I as I said I don't think Katy had an agenda. I am just saying in the past there have been. I am not saying that everyone is swayed by the negative light. Just look at how I was defended above. Both of which are not present customers. But it does and will sway many.... affecting and effecting the outcome of my advertising.
Something that many may not have realized is there are not many ways for provider friendly or oriented businesses to try to advertise to the target market ( The Provider) ECCIE has the largest Subsection of hobbyist and providers in one place. That is why I am here.
But it is very hard to promote your business where people are able to accuse you of bad things, point out your every flaw and purposely undermine your efforts. Providers imagine what comments may or may not be in the Men's Only Forums by guys simply judging you. Guys who have never ever spoken to you are seen you. I mean just look at Comedy Central for the Jokes made about providers there... because they used a photo that maybe they shouldn't have or wrote a sentence incorrectly. I venture to guess that many times when there is a sudden halt in new business you can attribute it to something said on this board. Something that you have no control over, has been taken out of context, or may even be an out and out lie. This forum is in many ways a double edge sword both helping and hurting ones business. But it is the best solution in a world were our lifestyle and choices have to remain so UTR. There are always good and bad sides of every situation.
I hope that you seeing this can get a real sense of how important what I do and what people think about what I do is to me before piling on or commenting make sure you have no agenda or aren't just occupying your time with idol drama and truly have a good purpose to any comments.

Thanks so very much,
Tia

I.I am glad that you made the effort to change it in to something that is more likely to describe your client, and not Cat lol.

Everyone makes mistakes when attempting to start a business. It is the willingness to admit to them that matters the most.
I have worked with Tia and magnific Media for aver 6 months and I find her to be extremely professional and highly responsible.
It does seem like many time folks like to take aim a provider owned business so I just thought I'd put my two cents in.
If any one wants more info on Tia and Magnific Media just PM me.

Good luck and thanks for keeping the dialogue positive. Or pretty much positive!

Of course I am not so full of myself that I believe I am the only one who can turn a good phrase or to think that those providers looking to find similar type clientele, and or who have similar type personalities may not come close in the description and phrasing from time to time. Especially when attempting to get the same message across in advertising.

I write hundreds of words a day for clients in ads, website content and various other forms I have no problem coming up with words so I have no reason to just arbitrarily reached out and suddenly grab hers or the other ladies.

I know who Elizabeth is and have respected her for years. That is why I am saddened that with no reason or research she has thrown her hat in to say I am may be guilty of plagiarizing Cats work. How ever subtle and or positive she has made it sound as some I know and respect and as a moderator I find it disheartening.

I don't know who Katy Alexander is...according to this board she's not provider nor hobbyist... just a member gaining momentum like my profile. A faceless member chiming in on various post since joining in Feb in this instance... claiming she copied something off a one of my clients website. She is someone who seems to be hiding behind an avatar of a deceased actress and claims to be located between "STYLE & GRACE" So no real indication of were this member resides. She or he has no paid status no verified status. No real info about herself (or himself). I will give them this....She or he is an eloquent writer and skilled in the art of a subtle agenda so as to look to be positive and nice. Or maybe she or he believes what they are saying and has no agenda. I certainly know perception is a persons reality in most cases. In any event they don't seem to have the courage to be real. Only a shadow behind a curtain.

As for myself... I live in Houston and although I don't have paid status many folks know who Tia Thompson is. I have a phone number published. I am real and out here. I have 6 years in this industry as a provider with a good reputation I always try to give back to this profession because it has given me so much. At almost 55 years of age and many years of mainstream business experience, I am honorably and skillfully trying to build a business as an exit strategy for no longer being a provider but staying involved in a business I dearly love.

Everyone can and will draw their own conclusions. I know what is right, real and true in this instance and my life as a whole. I do struggle with the fact that people like to make assumptions about people without any facts. I also hate that some people love to tear down others to make themselves feel better. Those issues are my struggle in this situation and in this industry.

Although I am thanked by providers from ECCIE for being here where they could find me and for my assistance both paid and free. I am strongly considering ECCIE as a place I will no longer use to try to promote my marketing business ( or provider business for that matter). Unfortunately it is one of the very few places to promote a provider/hobby friendly business. Thus the reason I am struggling with this decision.HOWEVER... The key word here is promote. It is difficult to try and keep a positive outlook and try to move forward when people can hind behind anonymity to carry out agendas and Moderators aren't Moderate and both provider and hobbyist enjoy taking pot shots at others just for pure entertainment. At what point does promotion just become fodder for jokes, targets for drama and subsequently absolutely useless to the business trying to get a positive outcome.

I could pay for banners here where there is no opportunity to be a target but I see no evidence that providers even pay attention to them. I know hobbyist look at banners occasionally especially if there is a bare set of breast or bottom but what would I need to put on a banner to catch the eye of the provider who wants to promote themselves and is seeking a variety of types of assistance. I feel I offer too many service to try a encapsulate it into one tiny banner. But I may give it a try. Personally I think we as provider struggle to find provider friendly business and the business forum is very valuable but I would prefer ECCIE turn it into a paid forum ( reasonably priced much like a classified type ad on CL) with no comments allowed and let the person reading the ad decide if they wish to contact the advertiser.

This is my dilemma and I will be be pondering this over the weekend.

I will not respond on this thread any longer and actually hope it gets closed. As you can well imagine I don't feel it is serving the purpose it was put here for and would just as soon it fade into oblivion.

If I do leave ECCIE I wish to say thanks to all that saw my value, supported me and stood by me.

all the best
Tia
As an internet marketer, I have to say, I applaud your efforts, but the copy/content and sites are a best 3 out of 10, what ever spinner you're using to change text, find a better one or hire a real copy writer. Both sites content is 12% unique according to my content checker.

Keep up the effort!
Fascinating thread. As far as ECCIE changing to a paid forum with no comments allowed, I certainly hope that never happens.. The beauty of this board, and especially this section, is that it's frequented by some very saavy ladies (and gents) who are quick to call BS when they see people trying to take advantage of newbies who don't always know what to look for. If a company does quality work and has nothing to hide, comments and feedback shouldn't be an issue. If things get out of hand, that's what mods are for ;-)
