I've read both sites and it's clear to me that one is a higher life form when it comes to grammar and content - there's a special place in everyone's heart for the person who so eloquently depicted SummerXTC's old site oh so well. I know I'd personally rather be hit in the head with a roofing hammer than read anything XTC had to say.

Thank you everyone for your support. So much. It really means a lot to me. As I PM'd someone, making a big OMGDRAMA post like this is incredibly unnerving, and it is wonderful to know y'all got my back. I'm still peeved, but talking about it has helped me not feel so ... violated. There are at least three things I believe in: You don't rustle another man's cattle, you don't disrespect your momma, and you do not gank another provider's website text. It just ain't right.

Re: DMCA -- I am aware of that route, as sadly I've had to pursue it before. I was hoping the walk softly & carry a big, threatening olive branch method would work this time. We'll see.

I will contact them as well; perhaps waving my big, threatening olive branch with attached DMCA jargon in that direction will be more effective.

WOAH! You may have some drama issues with others but I have done nothing to you or ever spoke to you before and for you to even imply something like this is completely uncalled for without even checking yourself. I designed the website and all graphics and design are completely original. This is as far as I go with this. You need to retract your statement and threat since you are completely wrong! On another note to all of this. I went and looked at your website and I see much of what you wrote to be on many other websites that were done long before yours. I see all you have done is change a few words around and claim them to be yours.

For the record. Carrie Hillcrest never contacted me about any of this. All of my designs are completely original and Carrie Hillcrest problem with the text of the website have nothing to do with me and is an obvious attempt to slander my name. I did not write the text for the website, I designed the graphics and design concept only.

Folks this is a discussion thread and discussing Carrie Hilcrest's topic is just that.
She has also brought into question the web designer and has stated she will contact them. Surely once she gets a response she will let us know and go on.

This is a very sensitive topic for those involved and it might be better for them to discuss in more detail off the main trail than to air it here.

Often times the mere hint of something wrong does more damage than the actual intent or finality of a situation.
This is a very good example of why it is imperative before you say something to be able to back it up or to discuss these things with the other party first
Carrie has tried with Khloe and hasnt gotten a answer yet.
Carrie has also thought from the advice of "others" that the web designer might have something to do with this. I emphasise the word "might" not yes or no.
So lets not assume anything and lets not let this get out of control....

As a somewhat after thought, yes, websites and their texts can be copyrighted. It is intellectual plagiarism that is being discussed here. Not the presumed activity.
